Chapter-35: counter with Khalifa.

Officers were around the area and searching Shortcut.

Suddenly, some people came out from the sand and started shooting at them but they were sure that bullets does it hit them. From different places flashlights fell on them and many people who had covered their faces with black cloth were coming out from the sand. Vick shouted and told everyone that it was a trap and scoundrels were inside the sand.

The attack was so quick that they didn't even get a time to counter them. They all spread to save themselves and that was the mistake of those officers.

Flash light was falling on their eyes due to which they weren't able to see. The way they attacked them, just like that they disappeared and ran away from there. Both Connor and Noor, with some officers, ran in another direction to save themselves. Connor told everyone that they are safe now, but suddenly someone throws burning clothes in front of them. They get shocked and step back but from another direction, one more burning clothes falls on their feet.

Just like this from different directions many burning clothes fall in front of them. Officers got scared and aimed their guns in different directions but there was no one.

Suddenly, many people were wearing black clothes with only their eyes visible. They were coming towards them to attack and officers were pressing the trigger but from nowhere someone shoot on their gun. Connor told everyone to pick up the burning clothes and threw on them. They were attacking them and all officers were fighting with them. Connor grabs their hand and throws them on fire, they remove their cloth because it was burning.

Other hand, other officers were also attacked by many scoundrels and they were fighting with them.

After some time, Connor with other officers pushed them all back but meanwhile, they saw many people were standing around them and they were in the middle. Officers were shocked and looked around. One by one m, they shoot down all the officers except Noor and Connor. Suddenly, they step back and show them a path and, on that path, they saw a man who was standing and his all body was covered with black cloth. Both officers were shocked and Noor took a name from her mouth.

"Khalifa!!"

Vultures were in the sky and they were flying in the sky.

Vick saw the vultures and he knew that Khalifa was there. For a minute, he forgets everything and he starts moving towards that area but his path was blocked by many scoundrels and he was beating all of them.

That man was walking towards Connor. Both the officers were in shock and stepped back but Connor saw the burning cloth in his path and he had a small wound on his face. But that smile did not stay on his face for long. Khalifa stopped in front of the fire. He can come from another direction but he does not take another direction to come near to them.

 … Connor was in fear, he was taking heavy breaths and his heartbeat was making a heavy sound.

Connor, "what do you want?" He asked in a loud voice.

He was having someone on his right hand and he was dragging him. He threw that man in front of him and both the officers were shocked when they checked him. It was none other than Shortcut.

 … His condition was not good, he was taking small breaths and he need medical treatment. Khalifa raised his right leg and stepped forward through the fire.

There was no fear of fire in his eyes. He was walking on the fire crushing all those flames. All the muscles pumped up and Connor ran towards him to hit him. He jumped and tried to kick him but Khalifa grabbed his neck in the middle of the air and threw him back. He falls on the feet of Noor and she holds him. He walked through the fire and stood in front of him. He bent down and grabbed one burning piece of clothing in his hand. He said something in his heavy and fearless voice.

 "I won't burn you… look up."

Vultures were flying.

"I won't leave anything behind."

He threw that cloth and Connor told him that tonight he will be going to die from his hand. He tries to kick him but he grabs his leg and pushes him back. He again tried his best, he punched him on his chest but it won't affect him. He was taking heavy breaths that could be easily heard by them.

Suddenly, vultures start making sound and that sound was also heard by Vick also. He increased his speed to go to that place but many scoundrels were stopping him and he was fighting with all of them.

Connor noticed that he wasn't able to defeat him so he decided to run away from there. He told Noor to run but she said something which shook him from inside.

"You have to run… not me."

He looked at her and he saw a greedy smile on her face. He again looked at Khalifa and he saw that he was removing cloth from his face. When he removed his cloth, he saw a cut mark below his eyes and long beard. There was a black line blow his eyes and beard.

… Connor was in deep shock and Khalifa quickly grabbed his neck. He grabbed his neck with all his strength and he lifted him up in the air. Connor was not able to breath. Khalifa was looking in his eyes and saw fear.

"I WANT TO SEE THE FEAR IN YOUR OFFICER."

Finally, he died after some time due to choking and he left him.

Meanwhile, he heard his name in a loud voice and that name was taken by Vick. … Khalifa decides to kill him also but he has a message and he walks away from there but before he leaves, he tells Noor that they should not know about her.

When Vick reached the place, he saw that everyone was lying on the sand. All scoundrels ran away from there because they got the order of Khalifa. Vick checks everyone and asks Lisa to take everyone away from here. They took all of them to the hospital. All officers were injured including him and everyone was taking treatment but Vick refused and walked out from the hospital. He was riding his bike straight to the mansion and to meet his aunt.

He entered inside and asked her about the details of all his places. She told him that she does not know enough but she told him that Khalifa loves to break the hope. He does not understand anything so she tells him that he is the only obstacle in their path and only hope for the department.

 … He realized what she wanted to say. When he was leaving that time, Kevin stopped him and said that Khalifa had killed all his officers but why did he leave Noor alive.

Vick came back to the hospital and asked for the reports of Noor. He said that those marks were due to fire and due to fear she fainted.

He was confused. He was muttering inside with himself. He told himself that the Shortcut condition was not ok and Noor was alive but all officers were dead. Uncle Kevin was confused because Noor was still alive.

Now, there are only three officers left who came there to arrest Khalifa.

That night, Ruby makes a call to the mansion and one of the men picks up the call. In an angry voice, she said that they are making a huge mistake. She warns everyone to stay away from him but Khalifa told her that he will kill him and cut the call. She got angry and asked everyone to get ready to attack on his mansion but she was stopped by Kevin.

 He told her that she will not interfere because they can't kill him. He also said that there was only one man who could kill him and he was dead.

After listening to him, she stops her feet and sits on the sofa.

Kevin, "but we can help him."

Officers who were ok, they all came back to the work the next day and Vick was looking out from the glass. But on the other hand, Khalifa had decided and he decided to attack on him only because he also knew that Vick was the only officer who dared to stand in front of him. Ruby had spread all her people on the field to know about Vick because she does not want to lose him, he is the only family she had left. May was reading the file and she noticed that Khalifa had many mansions but he spends a lot of time in Dubai only.

At that time, one tip came to mind.

 "Vultures."

He said that vultures used to follow him just like last night. All the officers cheered up and told that he was right. They told the Chief that they need a force because they knew the place where Khalifa would be. After some time, there was a huge force who were wearing bullet proof clothes and their whole body was covered.

When they were about to move, a huge blast occurred outside the Headquarter.

 "BOOM."

 They saw a car was flying in the sky due to the blast.
