Chapter-38: why they fear him.

Vick was lying on the bed and doctors were treating him. They told him that the wound is too deep, they have to treat him immediately.

They prepare an injection but Vick tells them to treat him without Anastasia. He calls everyone inside his room because he wants to talk to them. That time, he asked everyone why they all get feared when they say Khalifa in front of them.

… All the officers were standing silently. He asked them one more time in a loud voice but they were not able to speak. The Chief told him that he knew the reason and Vick asked the reason.

The Chief said that the whole department used to fear him because they had seen his cruelty. … Ruby and Kevin both look at him and what he had done with them. Everyone was eager to know about him.

The Chief told him that every year they used to celebrate their annual day but one when they were celebrating the annual day, someone attacked them.

It was a huge party organized and all high officers came to that party. The party was arranged on the ground and the whole area was covered with palm trees. There was a long table and it was full of all types of drinks. Everyone was enjoying the party and they were talking about their job, work and progress in their city. Some officers were sitting together and eating their food. That time the Chief was sitting on the chair and he was talking to his friends but from nowhere one vulture came there and sat on the table.

Everyone was looking at each other but suddenly, a huge blast occurred.

"BOOM"

All officers started looking around but there was no one. Another blast occurred and just like this, many other blasts occurred. Whole area was covered with palm trees and a fenced wall. There was only one entrance. Officers saw many vultures were flying over the sky and they were looking at them. Meanwhile, one officer saw one black open jeep which was coming towards them.

All high officers order to aim their guns and shoot at that car. They start firing on the jeep but some people stand in front having iron shields on their hands. Bullets were hitting on the shield but they were stepping forward. The Chief told some officers to burn tablecloth and throw it on their path. They quickly took many table cloths and threw them on their path. They also threw all their drinks on cloth so that it could catch fire immediately.

Whole entrance was filled with fire.

Those people stopped at their place and removed their shield and looked at the path, their faces were covered with black clothes and only their eyes were visible. … Everyone thought that they were safe in that place. Those people remove their clothes from their faces and look at them. They all had black lines below their eyes and vultures started making sound in the sky.

At that moment, they all start laughing and step aside. All officers saw One man whose whole body was covered with black cloth. He was walking towards them.

… When all the officers saw that the man was walking through the fire. All his people were laughing and those laughs were creating fear inside all officers. One officer ran towards him to stop him but he grabbed his neck and lifted him up. Holding him on his right hand above in the air, he was walking and threw him towards all officers.

When he reached in front of them, he removed his clothes from his face and showed them his face. All officers get shocked and step back when they see his fearless face.

"What do you think… you will stop me?"

…

"My birds are hungry… they want your flesh."

When they heard his ferocious sound, they all aimed their gun at him but it was empty. Meanwhile, all the people walk through the fire and stand around him.

"Khalifa…. Khalifa is my name."

He took out one axe from his back and unleashed himself on all of them and one by one he chopped all of them. The Chief was lucky, he did not kill them but he asked him to sit and see how he killed all the officers. In front of his eyes, Khalifa had killed all his officers.

Whole place was filled with blood and dead bodies. Khalifa's people collect blood in a bowl and pour on his head. The Chief was looking at the scene. When he saw that scene, he was shocked and his breath increased. He looked towards all the dead bodies and he saw that his vultures were eating them. The Chief was alone and he was standing on his knees, Khalifa was sitting on a chair in front of him.

"Do you know why I did not kill you… because there must be someone who will tell me about me."

Everyone starts laughing at him.

Whole night was about to pass and the Chief was on his knees. Fear was clearly seen in his eyes. His vultures flew from there and he asked his people to burn all of them.

In front of his eyes, they burned their dead bodies and went from there.

The Chief, "Vick… he does not fear anyone."

 He told him that when he saw the news on tv that he had arrested Drona that time they all had an idea. Department had decided to call him there so that they could arrest him alive.

He asked Ruby about his people. She said that he had a huge number of people, maybe more than three hundred. Khalifa always had an axe on his back under his armour and he walked alone in front. He always used to have many open jeeps and many trucks, all vehicles were full of his people who could kill anyone on his command.

 … Vick understood their weakness and he started laughing. He told everyone that they had already lost the battle from him when his officers hands started shaking and fear came inside them.

He was sad. Doctors were stitching his wound and he shouted and asked them to stitch properly. Lisa, "why don't we take help from your aunt?"

… All the officers were shocked. But the Chief told her that they can't because if they take her help then they will lose everything and people will blame their department. Vick again laughed and said that he knew… that he had officers, who were weak but for a day, if they had the guts to stand along with him then he would bring Khalifa alive.

… He told everyone that he stands along with them, so there is no need to fear him.

Officers muttered between themselves and decided to stand along with him.

In the mansion, Khalifa sent a message to the island and told them about everything. He said that Ruby knew everything about them and any time she was going to attack them. He also told them that he can handle her but in reply the Sultan told him that he will not do anything with her.

 … He also told him to leave the place because till now, Ruby had told everything to him and at any time, he was going to attack him. Khalifa laughed and told him that he will not leave his place. He cut the call and told everyone to be prepared because he will come to attack at any moment.

Ruby told Vick that they may be more than three hundred but their strength is Khalifa, once he made him down… he made everyone down. Ruby told him about his current location. He stood from his bed but doctors told him to take rest. He told them to give him pain killer tablets and one high dose painkiller injection.

He also told them that if they show their smartness then, when he wakes up, he will be going to kill all of them.

He dressed up, he wore a bulletproof jacket and went down. He was surprised when he saw a huge number of police force standing in front of him. They all salute him and wait for his order. He also saluted all of them and ordered them to follow him. He took out his bike key and pressed the button, his bike came in front of him. Before he inserted the key, he kissed that ring and ride his bike towards the given location. Ruby also sat inside her car and went to her mansion.

While driving, Kevin asks her that they can send their people for his help but she does not. Why? She told him that he is my son and Khalifa need help, not him.

Khalifa was standing on his terrace and waiting for him and his people were roaming around the mansion and looking around. They knew that Khalifa was not going to lose to him. They still had a smile on their faces and were waiting for him to come.

Vick was riding his bike in front and all the officers cars were following him. When he reached near the mansion, he ordered them to switch on their siren so that they could hear.

Khalifa heard the siren and looked around. He saw a huge number of Police cars coming towards him. His people look at him and wait for his command.
