Elvina moved further towards the edge of the bed, burying her face in the pillow. 

Suddenly, she felt a weight on her body as a strong arm wrapped around her waist. She was pulled backwards out of nowhere and her back crashed against the man's hard chest. 

Elvina stiffened. 

Was… Was he moving around in sleep? 

As her racing heart calmed down and the current situation registered in her mind, she cursed herself in her heart. 

What was she thinking when she came here?

They were already not on talking terms—from his side—so what if he got frustrated by this? 

''I am sorry,'' the man whispered, snapping the trail of her thoughts. 

Her lips parted. 

''I shouldn't have ignored you,'' Archer hugged her tightly from the back as he nuzzled his nose in her hair, ''I am so sorry for treating you like that.''
