Chapter 43 : Confrontation Part 2/2.

-KANTAR'S POV-

I was overwhelmed by the sheer divine power that was before me that radiated from a normal spear and a well-known man. I had always thought I was the best in the world. I was even asked by a powerful entity to form a contract. Yet I am shivering with fear and hiding inside the body of that same entity. To think there was such a drastic difference between him and me. I knew he was stronger, but to this level, I have not considered it at all. My fear of losing is slowly driving me insane. That man is not even trying in this battle… He is just like that man.

A cold face, and an uncaring attitude. As if he did not fear what was before him.

"I wish I was just like him." Kantar sighed with disbelief. He continued to watch helplessly as the entity he formed a contract with fought like a mindless beast.

-BACK IN THE BATTLE-

As the beast mindlessly fought against Leo, it failed to strategize and think logically. Its pride got in its path to success. It did not question even once how a demi-human has so much divine power. Failing to realize that its demise is approaching as It leaped at Leo like a fool. Thirsty for his skills, his power, his divine radiance, and his blessings. Putting forward its head in joy and laughter, it pushed Leo back in the clashing of their weapons. Thinking that it got the upper hand and believing that it will have a great feast. It let its guard down. Unluckily for the beast, Rose revealed her true identity and as soon it realized it was a mistake on his part. Could one even blame him? Who can believe a little kid from Earth is wielding an Ego Weapon of this quality? None. That was its failure. It attacked blindly without any plans. As it is believed that earthlings lose in a single slash.

The newly born beast stood no chance against a divine slash that was mixed with Julius Caesar's Art. As it has demolished everything that the wielder desired it to.

"Hm, I still wonder how I have not received a warning for pking or any XP. Maybe the game doesn't recognize the Sin Of Gluttony as a monster or a player. It seems I have done something that has not been predicted by the game system." Leo calmed down from the intensive battle. He knew that he was just lucky for everything in this battle. Especially because of the divinity that Rose forcefully moved into his body. It was not something that he should have done, but the pain was bearable for the benefits he got. And he was clear for the desire of true self that Divine Tiger cursed Art during this battle. With the help of Rose, he reminded sane on the battlefield like a true Spear user, not a barbaric Berserker.

"You were just lucky that your plan worked. I shouldn't have trusted you from the beginning." Rose told her master angrily about what he has done to her. Forcing her into that hideous form.

"I will forcefully make you scream like a pig, don't talk back to me." Leo dismissed Rose.

-DURING THE PLAN CREATION-

"Okay, I want you to be completely honest with me from now on Rose." Leo looked seriously at his spear. He didn't want to play dumb games with her.

"Fine. What do you want me to do?!" Rose asked annoyingly.

"Do you have some hidden tricks you could perform?" Leo asked instantly Rose. Knowing well that she has many. As such shapeshifting and he knows that she is an Ego Weapon, something the game has not launched or explained yet to the public.

"I see what you are trying to do here fool. I'm not falling in your trap. Your entire family is the same, all of you are tricky fuckers like your Father." Rose looked at Leo directly, forcing him to understand that he is beneath her currently. He needs to listen to her and act like a good puppy.

"Then I'll destroy you." Leo replied bluntly.

"WHAT?! YOU ARE INSANE. YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR SOUL." Rose yelled in frustration. She was horrified that this little demon would do such a thing, he doesn't even know that she is an ego weapon.

"So what? I will repair it." Leo said arrogantly.

'Of course I don't know how to repair a soul, but my title "Crazy Liar" is always a big helper in hiding my knowledge. ' Leo talked to himself in his head.

"Hmpft, you? You don't know the name of my race, and here you think you can threaten me?" Rose laughed loudly to her Master, provoking him with her cockiness.

"I don't need to know it nor do I care for it." As Leo said that he reached his hand out to his spear and slowly began to forcefully make her kneel with her legs. A sudden emotion of fear and terror appeared on the face of once cocky Rose.

"How do you know to control me like that?…" Rose asked in terror.

"I just figured it out. You could say I'm just that talented" Leo said looking up at his spear and smiling. He seemed happy.

'I didn't believe I could manifest it from just the rumors in my past life. Forceful connection sure is useful.' Leo laughed and giggled at Rose a bit. Now she can't do anything but listen to him.

"Impossible…" Rose once again questioned her reality at the current moment. She was scared that she might not be free as she thought she would be. The fear of being forcefully controlled still sits not right with her.

"Enough of your idiotic rambling. I am a son of Odin. Doing this is expected from me. Tell me your tricks." Leo proclaimed loudly.

"Understood… I can change my form to a normal-looking spear or a shabby one to hide my identity." Rose replied obediently.

"That's all?" Leo asked disappointingly.

"Yes, you need to become stronger Master…I have many more but sadly I can't access them due to you not being at certain levels." Rose explained as calmly as she possibly could.

"Okay, here's what I want you to do. I want you to force your divinity through my body, I can't use mine divinity in worry he might be able to somewhat copy it or mimic it. I want you to do that and shapeshift yourself into a form of a normal-looking spear." Leo wrapped up his plan to Rose. Hoping that she would catch on to it.

"You want to trick Sin of gluttony into believing that I'm just a regular spear, then you want to catch it when it lets its guard down?" Rose concluded her explanation of her Master's plan. She still didn't understand how he know what state the Sins are in once they form a contract with lower species.

Seven Sins made amongst each other a special deal. In that deal, they will be working together from now on. As such their existence bounding contract proclaimed that once they form a contract with a lesser being, and they return to a mindless toddler state. There will be at least three Sins protecting them if they were attacked first. This is what made them powerful, their corporation. That means that once they come with the intent to attack or kill their opponent their protection is not in use. As such it would excuse her Master from their contract.
