It hurt like hell when Alpha Micah realized that he had to let go of the love of his life, because he was waiting for the impossible to happen. 

Hazel has died and even though his mind told him to let go, his heart told him to hold on.

"Ah! I missed you!" Hazel said out loud as she rushed to Mary and Ann before hugging both of them. She could care less about how Sulivan glared at her. She was not scarier than Jade, so she eventually got used to it.

"I missed you too, my lady!" Mary was so happy to see Hazel again, that she even forgot that the king was right behind her.

Meanwhile, Ann looked happy to see Hazel too, but she was better at composing herself.

Only when Sullivan cleared her throat that Mary and Ann immediately stepped back and then lowered their heads solemnly, as they greeted their king as well.

Hazel was not really happy, but she brushed it off. She could have a conversation with them later, when it was only the three of them

Micah walked over to Hazel and kissed her cheek, while whispering into her ear, "I will be in my study room if you need me," he said.
