Hazel has died and even though his mind told him to let go, his heart told him to hold on.

Hazel tilted her head to see who it was, but Micah had slammed the door behind him.

He didn't want Hazel to see the person behind the door and wanted to take her away from there as soon as possible, but there was one thing that bothered her.

"His voice is familiar," Hazel said in contemplation. She felt like she had heard that voice somewhere, but where? "Ah, the man in the casino."

Micah had been informed of what happened in the casino and even though he didn't show it in front of Hazel, he was very livid at Archer for allowing her to go out of the palace, especially to a place like that.

But fortunately, Hazel managed to talk him into not giving extra punishment for Archer and the other two guards, because she was at fault as well, so it was only fair if she too got punished.

At that, Micah could only close his eyes and agree with her.
