ANXIETY

"You scared me," Hazel grumbled when she felt Micah's sharp gaze on her. His presence was so hard to be ignored. Therefore, the first thing that she felt after opening her eyes was this strong presence, which was none other than the king himself.

Hazel yawned, she felt too lazy to even keep her eyes open. What time was it? She stretched out her hand to grab her phone on the table beside the bed, only to see two trays of food on top of it. She frowned. When did Mary and Ann bring her breakfast?

She should have taken a shower and been ready to go to work, if her breakfast was already here.

Panicked, Hazel took her phone and looked at the time. Her eyes opened wide the next moment. "Eleven o' clock?!"

She was speechless, this was not just being late, but too late, or well behind time… no matter how fast she moved, she wouldn't get to the office in time.
