Not On My Watch

Layla knew she is supposed to go back inside the restaurant because she doesn't have any money for a taxi to take her back to Jason's place where she had left her car. She must have left her purse in her car.

She searched the pocket of her Jean trousers hoping to find some change, but it was empty.

She cannot order a ride either because she had left her phone in her car. So it was either she goes back inside the restaurant and allow Jason to take her back to his place for her to get back her car, or she would have to walk the distance back to his place.

Layla chose the latter, as she began to walk back in the direction of Jason's apartment. With the dramatic exit she just made in there, there was no way she would go back in there with her tail in between her legs to beg him to take her to his place.

Even if it means walking for hours, she would rather do it than go back in there to beg Jason for a ride.
