Chapter 107: Belly Pouch

[Vereena]

Qouldris let off one more blast of flames through the army before he spreads his wings and beat them down with powerful gusts of wind. In a jiffy, we propelled into the air. However, we are still not done, not Qouldris.

After soaring a hundred feet above the ground, he swoops down, just high enough so they won't reach us. Then his massive body rumbled beneath me, his chest glowing blue, and right then he expelled a breath of fire. Incinerating the last row of those monsters. Leaving before they could spawn again.

My gaze surveyed where the ice have been. There was nothing left of it but huge crumbles of a sinkhole. The amulet warmly throbbed on my chest, and the foreboding feeling that had lodged deeply in my gut had now dissipated upon seeing Callum alive.

There are only five of them remaining. Badly wounded mostly, but nothing that can't be mended.
