Chapter 151: Celebration

[Vereena]

The night was filled with merriment. Everyone around the deck was dancing, eating, and filling their bellies with drums of ales until they were about to explode. They even got fiddles, bagpipes, drums, concertinas, lyres, and penny whistles, which I suspect came from the other ship. The foods were well cooked, and Eulisses did a very great job administering the ceremony.

And I very much like this kind of celebration rather than an overly exaggerated banquet served in the great halls. It was so simple, yet such joyous revelry in which everyone was satisfied and no one from the crowd held envy.

I have no idea how long Callum had prepared for this wedding. Everyone had prepared their gifts for me. Though it wasn't as grandeur, just like the finest silks, furniture, world-renounced artwork, or anything as expensive as those, what I appreciate much is the effort they put through. This wouldn't have happened without the cooperation of everyone.
