Woojin has been in this job ever since he joined the army in Korea but after a while he decided that he can't do it anymore. He wants to change his career but not now, maybe later when they all get home. As long as he can keep the peace then he will do anything for Seungwon and Jeongin and the two boys who are currently sleeping soundly in the room.
He smiles gently looking at the peacefulness in the room. The only thing that could wake him up would probably be his husband screaming and crying in his sleep but Seungwon seems perfectly fine so he lets him sleep. It' been a long day for them both and Woojin would like to have a good night sleep as well. He turns to face the bed beside him, where Jeongin should be sleeping but he notices a little bundle of blankets instead. A smile appears on his face remembering how adorable his children were last night and the way Seungwon was carrying them around during the dinner. He can't help but chuckle softly at how cute they looked together. He looks at the clock hanging on the wall and sighs knowing he has a busy day tomorrow, he needs to go grocery shopping for Seungwon and clean their house and also check if their kids woke up early enough. He gets ready and goes downstairs to start preparing breakfast for the both of them.
When Woojin finishes cooking, he places two plates and some fruits and cereal on the table before sitting down next to his love, who is still fast asleep. His hand reaches over and starts caressing his cheek gently while smiling fondly at him, he knows how hard it must be for Seungwon to take care of both Jeongin and Minho, especially after losing Jisung as well. Even though Woojin tried his best to support the two and support Seungwon too, he knew that it was hard for him and he couldn' blame him for trying his best to keep them alive. Sometimes it felt like nothing was going right for them or they didn't really know what to do.
He thinks about everything that happened today, all the people who died, the chaos that happened in the streets and at the police station, all the things that had gone wrong in the past few days, the people in the hospital, even the things that happened to him in the past month. He feels himself being pulled into memories of the past and he misses his friends from high school, he loves his family more than anything in the world but there's something missing, he can't pinpoint what exactly it is but it keeps bothering him. He feels like there's something important he isn't aware of yet. He shakes his head to clear away his thoughts, he needs to focus on his children.
"Good Morning Wooj," Seungwon mumbles quietly as he slowly wakes up from his nap. He stretches out his arms and yawns loudly. Woojin chuckles amusedly and kisses his forehead, making him smile even more. "I hope I'm not disturbing you." he says.
"Not at all," he replies leaning forward and kissing him properly. "How are you feeling?" he asks as they pull apart.
"A little tired but I feel alright," Seungwon replies rubbing his eyes.Woojin nods his head in understanding. "I made breakfast, I hope it was ok, I think they don't use proper ingredients in our food."
"It was perfect," Seungwon assures. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, now eat, we need to finish packing your bags. I'll make coffee too, shall I?" Woojin asks getting up from the table. He walks towards the kitchen and grabs a mug along the way and fills it with freshly brewed coffee. When he walks back into the living room, he sees Seungwon already seated on the couch sipping his coffee, he sits down besides him and takes a sip of his own coffee. They sit like that for a while in silence enjoying each other's company, listening to the birds outside and the distant sounds coming from the street as they finish their breakfast, occasionally humming a tune under their breath. Eventually, Seungwon sets his cup down and stretches his arms above his head. He rubs his eyes once again before saying "let's go pack our stuff."
They grab everything necessary and get ready to leave, grabbing their car keys and phone. They walk to the entrance and wait for the security guards to unlock the door. After unlocking it, they step inside and lock the door behind them as they make their way to the parking lot.Once they reach their cars, they get in one and Woojin drives them back to their house. They park the car near the garage and get out. Woojin opens the boot and gets their bags while Seungwon goes to his side to retrieve their suitcases from inside the trunk. They walk inside and put the bags in the guest room upstairs while Woojin starts setting up his laptop to charge so they can watch TV. Once everything is done, Woojin joins Seungwon in the kitchen to cook dinner for them and prepare the drinks for their afternoon coffee. When everything is ready, Woojin calls the restaurant to reserve a table for two and Seungwon puts their meals on the table. Woojin makes their coffees and hands Seungwon one cup. After eating, they settle on the living room watching Netflix while drinking their coffees. After a couple episodes, Seungwon leans against Woojin and falls asleep, leaving Woojin wondering what he did to deserve such an amazing boyfriend like him.
Chapter 2
The two boys sat on the couch in front of the T.V, watching a drama show on Netflix when suddenly, someone knocked on their door. They share a look before getting up from the couch and walking towards the door, unlocking it and revealing a familiar person.
"Dad?" Woojin exclaims surprised.
"Hello, guys!"
