An extraordinary coincidence. The person being talked about suddenly appeared like a ghost. Holly was wide-eyed and didn't have time to say anything.
Her body seemed to be pulled out automatically, going towards the living room. She knew this place so well. Gilbert or Felix didn't have to escort her, but they followed closely behind, just in case Holly's body fell to the floor.
Holly wanted to run if she could, but her legs were shaking too much. She had to hold onto the wall to walk.
"Is it okay to let her? I immediately remembered the human Her Majesty mentioned when I saw that man. He looks like her." Gilbert whispered to Felix.
Felix didn't know for sure why that person suddenly came when they were there. If her brother was still alive, he should have helped her a long time ago. But why now?
A knight stood guard at the door. He let Holly in after Felix nodded at him. He helped her open the door, and Holly entered in a hurry. Her eyes swept across the dark room lit by only one candle. Nothing. There's no one there.
Holly wasn't the only one who surprised to find that emptiness. The knight who guarded the door was also confused because there were no traces of humans.
"I'm sure he was still here, Your Majesty. He couldn't get out."
Gilbert came in looking for the man in every corner of the room. He was the one who brought the man into the mansion. At first, he was suspicious because a strange man suddenly came from the back door. Gilbert's sword was raised beside his neck, but he remained calm.
After he saw that man's face carefully, he immediately remembered Holly. Golden hair and green eyes.
He didn't talk much. "I need to see your King." It was the only sentence he said. He didn't even talk about Holly either.
Gilbert let him in without lowering his guard and sent a knight to guard the door. But then, he was gone like a wind.
Felix was standing at the door. He smelled something familiar. He had smelled this smell around the mansion too.
"He was Arthur," said Felix.
Holly, with a panicked face, turned to him. Felix nodded before Holly asked. "I'm sure. I smell the same thing around this mansion. He must be Arthur."
Holly breathed a sigh of relief. So relieved that her legs went limp and fell on the sofa. Arthur is still alive! He survived!
"Your Majesty." Gilbert handed her a blue sealed envelope that lay on the table.
"It was our seal."
Gilbert's finger pointed to the wax used to seal the letter envelope. It was the seal they used hundred years ago. The seal was long gone, no one had time to take it out of the palace when Felix's body was transferred to Dark Hill.
Felix opened the envelope. There was a letter in it. In addition, he found a necklace with a green gem pendant.
'Welcome back, My King. I'm glad you finally woke up after so long. I wanted to greet you in person, but I'm sure you'll kill me when we meet. Ah, congratulations on your new Queen. I have a little gift for your Queen. She would definitely love it. Please take care of my sister, Your Majesty.'
Felix let Gilbert read the letter along with him. There was nothing too important in that letter. While Holly waited for him, she looked curious about that letter.
"Your brother gave you this. You know what is this?" Felix handed the necklace to Holly.
"That... That's my dad's necklace. My mom gave it to him before she passed away."
Felix felt unease, but he helped Holly put on her necklace. The green gemstone matched her eyes. Sparkling beautifully under the candlelight.
He felt suspicious about the letter. There was something off. Arthur wrote that Felix would kill him when they met. For what? Felix didn't even know him. Why did he have to kill him? Did he think Felix was a murderous tyrant? It could be, considering that Felix's reputation in front of his people was not good.
However, other things made Felix suspicious. Gilbert probably didn't smell it because his ability was still lower than Felix's, but Felix did. There was a slight scent of Justin. Wherever Arthur was, he must be with Justin. He had to find Arthur if he wanted to meet Justin.

Holly didn't stop smiling the whole way. Her hand held the necklace around her neck. Since leaving the mansion until they almost reached the castle, Holly smiled by herself with her necklace.
"Are you that happy?" Felix asked curiously.
They left the village before sunrise so the locals wouldn't see them. Even though it was only lit by a torch, Felix could see Holly's smile clearly. The torch was only helpful for Holly because a werewolf like him could see clearly in the dark.
Holly nodded excitedly. "My brother is still alive," she said.
Felix smiled at that. As a King who lived with the troublesome family, Felix would never understand why Holly could be so happy just because of her brother.
Several knights walking with them looked at each other. They've been talking about this since the first day following their King out of the castle. How come? Their King, who used to yell and often got angry, didn't stop smiling for days.
"Looks like a long sleep made our King weird," they whispered to each other with a frown.
Felix heard them, but he didn't care. He couldn't take his eyes off from Holly. Whatever they said, there was a more important thing he had to pay attention to.
"Maybe we can invite him to our wedding."
Holly stopped in her tracks, hearing what Felix said. Out of nowhere, he suddenly mentioned the wedding. Holly had almost forgotten that she had to get married with him.
"But if I can destroy that flower anytime soon, we don't need to get married, do we?" asked Holly with hopeful eyes.
Felix's heart shattered. He felt like he had just been rejected by a human, and it was clear that Holly didn't want to marry him.
"You don't want to marry me? You can be Queen whenever you want." Felix tried not to look too disappointed. He must prioritize his pride.
Holly didn't want to marry a stranger, and she still thought of Felix as the one. At first, she thought the only way to survive was to be with Felix. But after knowing Arthur survived, Holly felt marriage was not the only option. She would stay with Felix until the curse ended.
"Or do you want to marry that second prince?" Felix clenched his jaw. His breath hitched with anger, and he was ready to explode.
"Absolutely not! I'm just not ready to get married."
Felix still didn't accept that answer. He shook his head, firmly rejecting Holly's idea. "We're still getting married. Prepare yourself."
