The spacious land within the Everwoods had become stained with a dense bloodlust. Council Lord Selvin was all but glaring while Yalvo maintained a graceful smile as he approached. Arms poised behind his back, with his robes billowing into the winds. He glanced at Aerin.
"Shall we commence?"
Aerin revealed a warm smile. "If it's alright with you, Blood Haven doesn't mind. We care not for this test."
"The test of faith is one of perception. I don't expect a youngling like you to grasp it."
"Grandfather is throwing shade so soon? Come Give Rin some hugs."
Yalvo chuckled and opened his arm for Aerin, who leaped in. "It's been too long, little one. How's your Father?"
"Carrying a stick up his ass."
"Rin!" Yalvo said sternly.
"Yeah. Yeah. But it's true." She moaned, rolling her eyes. Aerin snorted and took a step back.
