Lucifer Morningstar - The Seven Sins

"You go on ahead," I told Mephisto, eyeing my Grandson, that seemed to carry his Father's sense of perfection. Even exhausted and bloodied, there was a peaceful grace with which he carried himself. As if no matter what happened, he'd remain.

Mephisto glanced at me. " Careful what you say." He turned and entered the cabin, where Lord Hellmaster awaited.

Gods, I don't want to meet that man… those beatings always seem to resurface no matter how long ago they were. I swear I still got a cracked rib from an Eternity ago. That blasted rib always aches whenever I see him.

The bastard is lucky my Grandson is here, though. I'd have flicked him off. For his sins against the crown… And excepted my beating with grace. Hmmm. But if I do fight Uncle, I could show Crowe a few things. No, that won't do. He's too weak to even understand anything.
