Chapter 7: The second event

President Mic: The stutends are really giving their all, Eraserhead but there seems to be one that hasn't moved. It's KAIDO XEBEC! Does he want to boycot the festival by not doing anything?

Eraserhead: ....

President Mic: Hold on?! What's with this weather? My favorite weather girl told me it was going to be sunny today...OH MY GOD LIGHTNING JUST HIT KAIDO! HE-HE-HE IS CHANGING INTO A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A....

Eraserhead was still in deep thought.

--------------------------------*Flashback------------------------------------------------------------------ Nezu: It seems like Kaido can be removed from the list of suspect.

President Mic: Really?!

Eraserhead: What did he tell you guys?

Allmight:.... His reason for being a Hero.

Eraserhead: Which is?

Nezu: Money....and fame.

Midnight: Really?

Every teacher was at a lost of words when they heard the reason.

Allmight: He said that he would not be able to live a luxurious life with any other jobs he could get as people would not hire "him" that easily.

President Mic: Why doesn't he just change his name?

At that sentence both Allmight and Nezu laughed bitterly.

Nezu: We suggested that but....

Allmight: ... He said that if he were to change his name... it would be after becoming a criminal and paying a little visit to the Hero Association.

Nezu: That was a really touchy subject for him. It was the only time where I saw emotion in his eyes and it was a mix of anger and lividness.

A silence fell in the room.

Nezu: In any case, it seems we were not the only ones to come with the conclusion of a traitor as Kaido himself thought of it too.

Midnight: From what you said about him being always aware of his surroundings was right, Eraserhead.

Eraserhead: Yeah but it was more then we had realised. It must have been something he pick up during his childhood as he always keep his guard up even when you tried to talk to him.

Nezu brought a different topic and they discussed about the festival. When they were about to finish, Nezu got a urgent call from the Hero Association. He could guess why they called and decided to answer while the teachers were still here. He still wanted to discuss about Kaido's situation and knowing the Hero Association's members, they would push the teachers to discuss about it again.

Hero Association: It is good to talk to you, principal Nezu.

Nezu: The feeling is the same on my side.

The exchanged pleasantries for 5 minutes until the Hero Association went into the main subject.

Hero Association: We have heard that Kaido Xebec has entered UA.

Nezu: Yes he did and he is quite the smart kid.

Hero Association:....That he is...We hope that you can...lead him into a bright future as a Hero.

Nezu: Do not worry that was my intention all along.

Hero Association: That is good to hear but some of us would like to talk to him if possible.

Nezu: Every student in class 1-A just went through a villain attack, I'm sure they all need sometime to themselves.

It took 10 minutes of them asking in different ways and Nezu inderectly refusing in other ways for them to end the call after saying goodbye one another. The teachers listen without saying anything during this whole conversation.

Eraserhead: Do you mind telling us what that whole conversation is about? I doubt they gained sudden interest for Kaido for nothing.

Nezu: I had some doubt when I heard from Allmight how Kaido defeated the slime villain but after this villain incident, my theory became true and it seems they thought of it as well.

Midnight: What theory?

Nezu: Kaido has a second quirk that is at least as powerful as his father's quirk.

Everyone became shocked.

Eraserhead: Are you sure?

Nezu: Yes, it would explain how he survive the fall and his physical prowess. At first I though it was one quirk with multiple usage but the machine clearly showed what his quirk was. If it increased his body durability we would know. My theory is that his second quirk awoken after he was put into an orphanage by that time he would've already lost trust in anyone and decided to keep his second quirk a secret while perfecting both or at least his first one.

Eraserhead: The Hero Association must be worried by the fact he chose to hide it.

President Mic: Yeah but can they actually think he would tell them that he has a quirk like his father after what they put him through?

Nezu: They can't accuse Kaido of hiding his second quirk without their own deeds coming into the light. That is why he has them in a check mate for now as they don't want to repeat the same mistake.

Allmight: But shouldn't they have prepared for something all this years?

Nezu: It has more to do with the fact that they don't know Kaido's full capabilities as he had 10 years worth of practice and no matter his age if the quirk is dangerous enough it could lead to some trouble.

Eraserhead: They're probably expecting us to tell them his ailities.

Nezu: The festival will be the place where we will learn more about him as well as acheive our other goal.

--------------------------------------------*End of Flashback*---------------------------------------------Eraserhead was brought out of his thought by the shout of President Mic.

President Mic: .....A-A-A-A A DRAGON!!!!! SERIOUSLY ERASERHEAD WHAT DO YOU FEED THE STUDENT IN YOU CLASSROOM?! HE JUST TURNED INTO A GIGANTIC DRAGON!!!

The whole stand was silent as the mouth were wide open. It was only after Kaido laughed and left that some spectator screemed before fainting. When Kaido arrived at the finish line President Mic made an announcement.

President Mic: THE WINNER IS KAIDO XEBEC-WAIT WHY IS HE NAKED?!!

When I was going to get some clothes, I noticed some girls where blushing which didn't bother me. I came back with some pants and shoes. Midnight noticed it and try to make me put something else. I could see that it was not her decision to which I said that it would rip anyway and that I wanted to save some clothes.

Midnight: My~My Kaido. It quite peculiar to have three tattoos at you age.

Kaido: None of them are tattoos.

Everyone became curious at my statement. Especially Class 1-A as they had just assumed that was the case and never had the guts to ask me. Yeah, I forgot to mention I also inherited Kaido scale tattoo and scar it was more of a birthmark and a scar for me.

Kaido: One is a mark I got from being poisoned, the other is a scar and the last one is a birthmark.

Midnight took some time to change the subject and redirect it towards a positive vibe.

During the second event, I was allowed to participate alone. As I had guess no parent wants their children from being close to me and the staff probably wants to learn more about my abilities.

I just stood there and no one came to take my points as I was releasing weak Haoshoku Haki, just enough to make them retreat. Even Bakugo retreated once before being destracted by copy troller. Shoto on the other hand tried to get further but got scared and threw a fire ball at me which did zero damage. After that the same thing as the canon happen except with lower points. I was smiling as I was announced the winner and I could feel Momo blushing while looking at me at that moment.
