Visit To Pat Group

Mella was happy to knew that Chris still liked her, as she had thought probably if she opened up her true feelings to Chris, he would rejected her. And she thanked Evan for telling her the whole details and drove back home.

Mella planned on visiting Patrick in his office, during working days as she didn't knew his house, except for his company, and she has heard a lot about Patrick and seen him on trending hot male Celebrities in City A, that has money and wasn't yet married.

Mella sighed as she wondered if Patrick would forgive Chris on her behalf, and granted him bail too, or better still ended the case.

Mella decided to visit her family house first to rest over the weekend, so she wouldn't worry much about Chris being in the police cell.

Her family lived in the heart of City A too as her father was a billionaire, so she decided to paid her father a surprised visit, as she hadn't seen him to thanked him properly for assigning her as the new CEO.

Arriving at her father's mansion, Mella went to saw her father first, not wanting to saw her step siblings, as they were all jealous of her and hated her

"Greetings Father" Mella greeted her father whom sat on an executive chair in the living room reading a newspaper.

"Welcome my daughter, you never informed me earlier that you will be visiting us today" Mella's Father, Mr Martin spoked.

"Forgive me dad, I wanted it to be a surprise visit" Mella replied, smiling sweetly at her father whom smiled back at her.

"Have you greeted your step mom?" Mr Martin finally asked Mella, knowing that Mella didn't liked her stepmother and was also the more reason why Mella had packed out and choosed to live outside their family house, despite Mella wasn't even yet married.

"I will father, I haven't seen her yet. Anyways, I came to thank you officially for the new promotion at the office" Mella said.

"Is nothing my daughter, I will have given you much more than that, but you know you are a woman and need to get married, so I don't want to overwork you with that, so you will also have time to think about starting a family of your own" Mr Martin spoked.

"Okay father" Mella smiled to him as she said, "Father concerning starting a family, I don't want the marriage proposal that was proposed to you by some of your colleagues. I have someone am in love with now and want to settle down with."

Mr Martin just stared at his lovely daughter, as he had gotten a lot of contract marriage for his daughter's hand in marriage, but he want her to be truly happy and choose her husband by herself, as she was the only child from his first love, his first wife, whom left him after a cheating scandal.

Mr Martin wanted his first daughter to find true happiness, and hasn't approved of any arrange marriage proposal yet from his business associate, as he only used it to reminded Mella that she would have to get married someday.

"There is no problem with that. When you are ready, you can bring him home for us to meet with him" Mr Martin said as he smiled back at his daughter. And Mella stood up and went to greeted her stepmother in her quarter, as she knew her stepmother was a conniving person and didn't like her, because her children were still younger compared to her.

Her stepmother first son, whom was still a young adult, was sixteen years and his mother wished he was older than Mella, As Mella was twenty-three years, while her step sister was twenty years in age, but not her step mother's child.

"Greetings mother" Mella greeted Lady Angela as she was normally called. And Lady Angela looked at her with a fake smile on her face, and said, "Welcome Mella, when did you arrive?."

"Just now mother" Mella replied

"Have you greeted your father?" Lady Angela asked.

"Yes, I have" Mella replied, as she was standing and wanting to leave her stepmother's chambers. And Lady Angela harrumphed,

"I know you will definitely, go to greet your father first, and he must have been the one to remind you to come here."

Mella didn't responded, as she needed to leave here immediately, before her stepmother would accused her of insulting her, Then Mella turned and left her stepmom quarter, going back to her old room, that she was using before she packed out.

The following day, Mella woke up early and went vising some of her old friends that lived in the heart of City A, As it had been long that she lastly saw them, and she didn't wanted to stay home all day with her family.

After having breakfast, Mella left to her best-friend house in City A. And Anita Bright and Mella too, were also best friends too but Anita wasn't yet back in the country as she was still on her honeymoon vacation with Matthew.

Mella went to one of her college friend house, Sandra's family house. As Sandra was a tomboy and didn't want to marry, as sometimes Sandra used to visited Mella and stayed up to a week in Mella's father mansion avoiding marriage topics at home.

Mella told Sandra all that has happening between her and Chris, and Sandra advised her to saw Patrick first, before telling her father about it.

Mella had her lunch in Sandra's place and after that she went back home to prepared for the following day.

Mella still had some of her clothes in her old room, and so she dressed up beautiful and went to told her father that she was leaving the house, as it was already a beautiful Monday morning.

"Are you going back to your house or the office?" Mr Martin asked Mella after she had greeted him.

"Father I have someone I need to visit first, before I head back to the office, and, am not coming back here, so after that I will be going to my own place" Mella replied him.

"Did you use to visit your mother ?" Mr Martin asked again, and Mella replied,

"Yes father I do, and she's fine."

Mella knew that she was the middle belt and bridge between, her mother whom has already remarried and has two other children apart from her, and her father whom has three children from three different woman.

"Hmph.. whenever you go visit her again, send my greetings to her, and tell her that I still love her" Mr Martin spoked, remembering his past, more reason he never like Mella younger stepsister, Bella, as she reminded him of his past mistake.

"Is okay father, I will" Mella sighed and left with her car keys in her hand, and she drove off to Pat Group, wanting to saw Patrick.

Evan had previously visited Patrick, as his eldest brother whom was older than Chris, wasn't around and had travelled out.

Evan pleaded with Patrick to granted Chris bail since Chris never abused Tina in anyway, but Patrick refused.

Mella arrived at Pat Groups of Company, and parked her car at the company's car park, and she went for all the necessary checkpoint and searched, before she was allowed in.
