Goodbyes

"Roar!" Leo roared towards Jae Yoon, forcing him to stop his attack mid-way to block the oncoming roar, "A screech made of pure magic, a truly devastating move for a lion!" Leo dug his claws into the ground and pounced onto Jae Yoon. He wielded his katana in a reverse grip, different from how he would normally hold his sword.

"80%" Jae Yoon's voice was nothing like his original voice, it was empty and emotionless. Jae Yoon swung his sword in a simple front strike, Leo ducking underneath the attack and landing an uppercut onto Jae Yoon.

"6 Stripes of Zebras!" Leo send Jae Yoon flying upwards and Leo lunged upwards towards Jae Yoon, inflicting 6 strikes from both of 3 claws on each of his hands. The strikes ripping through Jae Yoon's suit and cutting deep into his flesh, "5 Tonne Elephant Trunk!" Leo balled his fists together and swung it downwards onto Jae Yoon's head, cracking his skull open and smashing him downwards, "4 Limbed Gorilla!" Leo fell downwards, aiming straight down towards Jae Yoon with all 4 of his limbs hardened with magic.

"All in!" Jae Yoon called out, narrowly vanishing in time before being obliterated in the oncoming attack from Leo, "Three of a kind." Jae Yoon swung his sword three times, each time landing a critical and large blow on Leo, his entire left shoulder being targeted and dislocated.

"Fucker knows how to fight." Leo spit out blood, "I'll show you what it means to fight." The pure magic Leo was exerting could break the ground around him, rocks lifting and floating from the sheer force he was generating. Jae Yoon held his sword against Leo, his own magic increasing and flowing through the blade, creating a blue vibrant glow that emitted from the blade.

"Three Clawed Talon!" Leo charged towards Jae Yoon, the rocks flying with him.

"Flush!" Jae Yoon blocked the oncoming attack, quickly turning his blade's sharp side to Leo. Leo's hand got sliced open but he continued to apply pressure. The three claws on his paw grew longer and dug into Jae Yoon's chest. He screamed out in pain as the grip on his sword started to loosen. Leo pushed further, his claw digging deeper but his own wound gets deeper. Leo pushes Jae Yoon over onto the ground, he applies his entire body weight on Jae Yoon to get as much leverage as he can.

"Two Fanged Cobra!" Leo opened his mouth and bite on the side of Jae Yoon's neck. Jae Yoon finally let go off his sword and Leo stood atop of Jae Yoon. Leo's fangs he had bitten into Jae Yoon's neck broke off, staying inside his neck. Leo grabbed Jae Yoon by the neck and raised him up, his body casted a shadow onto Leo from the crimson sun, "You can come out now, dicere." Leo's grip on Jae Yoon started to get tighter, yet Jae Yoon wasn't saying a single word nor was he responding, "Playing hard to get are we? Fine." Leo stared straight into Jae Yoon's dark empty black eyes, "Come out." Leo said as he stared into his eyes. The darkness started to concentrate and move around inside Jae Yoon's eye. Leo could see his own reflection inside the dark empty space, a shadowy figure behind Leo about to shove a knife into his back.

"Agh!" The shadowy figure stabbed Leo, dropping Jae Yoon, he turned around. There was no one, nor any knife, just a single stab wound and the blood dripping down his arm, "Tricky dicere." Leo ran towards the closest body of water, "You're pretty interesting, but you're a one trick pony!" Leo could see a shadowy figure looming over him, he shoved his hand deep into the water where the figure had been. Soon, he pulled out a shadowy male figure, "You hide inside others and when you can't, you hide in the darkness, where you can't be seen." Leo had a tight grip on the shadowy figure, "One Horned Rhino!" Leo headbutted the shadowy figure, ripping the dicere into shreds and killing it, "Pretty easy." Leo looked back and saw Jae Yoon's body, nearly dead, "See, I told you, keep your mouth running and you'll eventually die." Leo took a seat next to Jae Yoon, "Want one?" Leo placed a cigarette onto Jae Yoon's cracked skull, "I'll even lit it for you." Leo lit the cigarette on fire, "This ain't a half bad place to die, ain't it pal?" The fire spreaded to Jae Yoon's suit, catching on fire and lighting his entire body up in flames. Leo stood over Jae Yoon's burning corpse as he smoked a cigarette, "Poor kid." Leo took out a hanker chief and placed it on Jae Yoon, "See you when I die." Leo walked away with his head held low.

"Not... yet." Jae Yoon said in a graspy voice, his hand reaching out for Leo, "I might die, but my body is a completely fine vessel." Jae Yoon's body was slowly decomposing and being burnt, "Give my body to a familiar." Jae Yoon said as his arm he stretched out fell to the ground, no longer having any more energy.

"Is that what you really want?" Leo walked back towards Jae Yoon's body, the entire grassland burning.

"Yes..." Jae Yoon said quietly.

"Very well kiddo." Leo took out an orb from his pocket, "Sin of Sloth: Meet your new vessel." Leo crushed the orb over Jae Yoon's corpse, the essence from the orb surrounded Jae Yoon.

"Thank you." Jae Yoon cracked a small smile before finally dying, his body becoming a vessel for the sin of Sloth.

"Why's goodbyes always gotta be so hard." Leo sat down onto the burnt grass and watched as Jae Yoon's body was lifted up from the ground, being repossessed by a new spirit, "I've given you two cigarettes today." Leo took the cigarette out of his mouth and dug the end of it onto the ground, extinguishing it, "My second one."

Jae Yoon's entire body was enveloped in a blue mist, patching up and fixing all of Jae Yoon's wounds. Slowly lifting the body upwards.

"Welcome to your new world, Jae Yoon." Leo said as he stood up.

Jae Yoon's body had been completely reconstructed, even his clothes had been fixed, "I await your command master."

"Don't call me that. From now on, you'll be known as Hyeung Jae Yoon, manager of the S.O.U.L company, as far as you know, you're a human." Leo casted a spell onto Jae Yoon.

"Very well, may I know your name?" Jae Yoon looked at Leo.

"Don't look at me like that." Leo felt something in this eye, "You can call me Leo, your best friend." Leo placed his hand onto Jae Yoon's shoulder, "You fought well..."

"I've never fought in my life." Jae Yoon replied.

"Sure you haven't." Leo wrapped his arm around Jae Yoon's shoulder, walking him out of the dungeon.

"Fuck you Jae Yoon, you know I'm not good with goodbyes." Leo shed a tear as he walked out of the dungeon, the sun glaring down on the both of them, Rose and Shizuki waiting for them outside.
