Since the fairy spread the news, all the souls were slowly reuniting in Pandae to celebrate the wedding.

The wedding would be the start of a long lasting relationship between them, and they could reign in peace the world they two created.

In order to do so, they divided the Realm into territories for the different magical creatures.

And as soon as the territories were divided, they named a few people who were the Guardians of the order. They were the ones to reunite when problems appeared nor anyone wanted to communicate something.

A representative from each race —a fairy, an elf, an angel and a demon— were chosen for the task.

They all had the ultimate word in their races' problems, and they were the ones to cooperate with both Light and Darkness.

The days passed away, and the kind Guardian fairy was installing her few things into the Guardians basement in Pandae, while Astreia was there helping everyone to be as if they were in their homes. The fairy tried to talk to Astreia to greet her, but she saw Az'rune coming near them.

—My love, we must go back to the palace.

—But darling… —Astreia cried—.

—We can come later, but we must go now, darling.

—Is something happening? —Astreia looked at his brother and husband with pity—.

—You will see when we get there. —Az'rune's voice denoted his nervousness.

Astreia recognised the need in his voice and they desappeared from everyone's view, teleporting to the Throne room. There, an elf and an angel were waiting for them, both sharing a nervous aura.

—Lady Astreia! Lord Az'rune! —the angel reverenced in their sight—.

—What is as important as to claim us? Couldn't you tell the Guardians?

—Lady Astreia, I do know and I expect you can forget my rudeness, but this is something you have to see.

With a concerned smile, the angel made visible a small image of the forest surrounding their territory, Elyseum. The forest was dying without reason. The angels tried to heal the forest but a extremely rare aura was expanding through the forest at a high speed.

—This is destroying the forest and we think we can't contain it. Our Guardian doesn't know how to proceed. So we rely on your thoughts.

The elf talked finally, showing them an almost exact image of their forest.

—We think we aren't as wisdom as Your Grace but, something is attacking the magic. We don't know what or how is doing so.

A sudden horror cry from Astreia resounded louder in the room, scaring the elf.

—Can you two please leave us? —Az'rune looked at Astreia, who was lost in her thoughts.

—Milord, will Lady Astreia be okay? —The angel talked directly to Az'rune.

—She will, she just needs to have some rest.

—We will go now, Milord.

—Thanks for informing us. We will investigate. Now, you can go back to your homes.

As soon as the creatures desappeared, Az'rune took Astreia and he walked to their room with Astreia in his arms, sobbing.

—Do you remember it, right? How our sister destroyed everything we tried to create in her Realm… Right? —Astreia's voice was a whisper.

—The prison she is inside… My dear, we knew it wouldn't last forever. —Az'rune hugged Astreia so she could cry as much as she needed.

—But… You know… —Astreia was nervous, but she was silently thanking his husband's hug—.

—Don't you dare to worry, love. I'll make up a plan to solve this. You will be safe. Now, rest. I won't leave your side. —He left Astreia lying in the bed, hugging her as he thought of Astreia's wellness.

Minutes later, Astreia came fastly asleep. He whispered a name, invoking a blue fairy. He kissed Astreia's forehead, and he left the fairy protecting his wife. He teleported to the edge of the Elyseum forest, and he sealed the small rift in the air.

With that, the magic was now as pure as it should be.

Az'rune whispered his sister's name, and he went directly to the Void's Realm, where she was imprisoned. He was face to face with his chaotic sister, and he smiled.

—I can give you my soul, but you won't destroy her, Neesa. —Az'rune materialized a small black stone—.

—You still don't know, my little brother. —Neesa started laughing frenetically— I want Astreia's life. I want Astreia's power to create everything I want.

—You know, Neesa, that I'd give my life for Astreia. She is aware that you want her. I can give you my whole self, but let she be free.

—You are misunderstanding me, brother. —Neesa smiled at her brother through the glass—. I want Astreia. And I will have her at all costs.

—You would have to kill me first, Neesa. That's the last word I'll tell you. For now, you will rest a thousand years more, sister.

Az'rune whispered a few words in a language no one knows except the three of them. A small glimpse of his soul would be sacrificed but it was necessary.

He smiled sadly and returned to her side, knowing now the true purpose of their sister.

He saw her back in the bed, asleep, and he lied on her side, intertwining his hands to hers.
