I sat on my bed in Jimmy's house to think about my life and the way forward. Already Sandra is a married woman. And can never have time to check on me as before. She has to concentrate on whatever may come her way in her new home. Now I'm left alone in this jungle. Whatever I become, will be a result of my choice. No one cares to know the circumstances. I need to further my education because that's the only way I can become the person I've been dreaming about. Becoming a barrister is the only thing on my mind. I always admired my father. And this is the opportunity I have to be like him. To continue wherever he stopped. But in whichever way, I must avenge my parent's death. Can that be possible now? Because I have no time on my side. What if Sam travels outside the country? I have to do something because as he already knows me in person, I may be here waiting for a good time to hit and he may even hunt me.

I kept thinking out loud until my phone rang. I looked at the screen and smiled since Dave was the one calling.

... Hi Dave good day sir

Good day, my angel, how're you doing? trust you're back as you told me? I heard Dave speak from the other end.

Yeah, I'm back. We arrived this evening. I need to rest. I'm very weak. In short, I'm even having a headache, though I know it's stress.

"Wow!!! Sorry babe. Would you mind if I come and see you in the house? I'm close by to your uncle's house."

I don't think my family will take it friendly. Unless you'll wait outside the gate then I meet you there...

I know my family won't take it easy with me if Dave enters the house with his dreadlocks just to see me. Many questions must follow after his visit and I'm not ready for such questions. Cos of that, I just have to keep him outside while I sneak out to meet him there.

Dave always makes me smile by the way he addresses me whenever we're discussing. He always makes me feel bossy.

I won't keep you waiting just call me and I'll come outside.

I replied to him then he ended the call.

Just when I heard the beeps when he ended the call, I came to my senses. What's his exact reason for coming to uncle Jimmy's house? What may we discuss that we can't discuss over the phone or even chat? What if uncle Jimmy even sees us outside? Now I've put myself in trouble. I brought out my phone, to beg him not to come, but I already know Dave. It'll be hard to convince him not to come again. I then went to where Madam Ruth was seating and told her that I'll like to get some drugs from the nearest medicine store since I'm healing unhealthy. She then gave me some money and I left the house. I texted Dave to meet me in front of the medicine store.

Before I got to the medicine store, Dave already parked before their main entrance. I met him sitting inside the car. I got inside the car so as not to call for people's attention to myself. After exchanging pleasantries, he gave me a package he said he bought for me. I got surprised because I requested nothing. I thanked him and opened the door so that I'll go back home.

I heard Dave saying with a pleading tone .... Ah!! babe, you mean you're leaving me just like that? please wait I want to tell you something.

I told you I don't want to waste time. Can't we discuss it via phone call or chat?..

But as we're here, I think it'll be better if we discuss it here... I never knew Dave had such an appealing tone

I closed the door while waiting to hear from him.

This guy confidently described how he loves me and was reiterating that for some time. I was already losing my patience since I needed to get home before anyone suspect me of something. I had to beg him to speak up before he then requested that I should kiss him in the car.

"Is that how the so-called relationship works? I've never done that and I'm not willing to do that anytime soon. So, I'm sorry. I might disappoint you today" I was so blunt to tell him my mind without fearing anything or anyone. I still have the right to say yes or no to his request.

I didn't even know the exact thing Dave wanted. He continued begging just to kiss me. What could that do for him?

.... Dave! let no one hear that it's because you want to be kissed and that's what you've been begging for since I got into this car!!

You're really funny Dave. When the time comes, you won't request it. I'll give it out freely. So, let's call it a day. Good night Dave..... I concluded then got down from the car. Dave watched me as I got into the medicine. Since I told Madam Ruth that I was having a headache, and she gave me some money to buy drugs, I needed to present the drugs to her.

After buying the drugs, I met Dave still sitting comfortably in his car as if he was waiting for someone. I walked to him. He wound down the glass as I asked him

Sir, are you waiting for someone else? I thought you might've left

... That's what you thought, but I'm waiting for Jessy to grant my request.

Sorry Dave. for now, I can't. Understand it like that. If it means that I should return what you bought for me, I'll do that willingly. But I can't grant your request now... Then I was the one pleading

It has not gotten to that babe. But requesting a kiss from my girlfriend isn't something bad. Why won't you kiss me? Dave then questioned me with a soft tone

I never said I won't kiss you but not now. I can't start what I'm not ready to finish now. Anyway, goodbye Dave

I answered him and left him there
