Improper thought

When may arrived at Ramsey's residence, she asked for his trusted subordinate. It was already late into the night; May had made numerous turns because she was afraid of being followed. No matter what, she did not want to lose her life, but she wanted Ramsey to see how much effort she put in.

"Why are you here?" Ramsey's trusted subordinate was surprised to see him.

"I want to see the general," May said. She kept looking around to see if someone was close by.

"is there a message from the princess?" the subordinate asked. It has been three days, and Ramsey has become anxious.

"No, I would like to speak to the general," May answered. She did not think it was enough to speak to the man before her. After all, she was scared for her life. Moreover, her aim to please Ramsey would not be known if the two of them did not meet.

"Come with me," the subordinate led her inside and made her wait while he went to meet Ramsey in the study.

"What is the update?" After three days, it was impossible for him not to be anxious. The princess refused to see him, and the second household could not even lift a finger.

He realised just how much he had underestimated the princess. Now that she was on guard against everyone, how was he going to survive it?

"maid May is here, she seems troubled. Do you want to see her?" the subordinate asked.

"Why is she here?" Ramsey felt like pulling his hair. No matter what, she should have sent the message instead of coming out, after all, it would be difficult to explain if she showed up.

"Did you let her in?" Ramsey felt very anxious.

Ramsey got up and decided to go and see her. She was already in his house. If he is caught, he would say she came to him because she(May) is worried about the princess. After coming up with a reasonable excuse, Ramsey went to meet May.

"General Ramsey," May got up as soon as she saw him walking in. She looked tired after walking for so long.

"Did you give the princess my latter?" Ramsey asked. Although he noticed the tiredness in her gaze he did not care.

"no, the princess stepped out of her room for the first time in three days today, but she is cold towards me. Even when I tried to talk with her, she would not listen," May complained. As someone the princess has always been nice to, it was difficult for her to take it when she suddenly changed towards her, especially since she did not have a clean conscience.

" Then why are you here? " Ramsey was in no mood to listen to her complaining.

" I think the princess suspects you, she would not even hear me mention your name. I almost got punishment for trying to put good words for you," May lie with a straight face. She knew Ramsey was not loyal, so to her, the only way she could survive in the situation was to make him believe she had suffered because of him.

" What is the princess doing now? " Ramsey asked.

" A meeting with the generals, I wanted to attend as her maid in other to hear what was going on, but she refused me. I don't know why but she must be guided against me because I spoke up for you," May replied. She cried a little, and Ramsey felt sorry.

"return to the Palace and see what you can find out, don't mention me unless she asks," Ramsey instructed. The only reason he did not get rid of her now that the princess suspected her was that he knew of her improper thoughts towards him.

May was biting more than she could chew, but he pretended not to see it and would always encourage her by being nice. He believes that as long as she has him in his heart, she will not betray him. Moreover, she was beautiful. Since all she did was serve the princess, her skin was smooth like that of a noble lady.

Princess Jessica was never the type to hit her maids. Even when they made mistakes, she would at most send them to the darkroom for a few hours or make them kneel. The princess has always been kind toward does who serve her, but May knew best that she would never forgive betrayal.

Even if the maid had acted for the princess's Interest, she had lost her place in the palace, so May was scared that she might not survive with her life if the princess discovered her dealing with Ramsey, but she was young at heart and fell for Ramsey's gentle and handsome nature.

After the maid left, Ramsey immediately ordered his subordinates. "Send a message to all the members of our small group. Since the princess already doubts me, all the meetings should be cancelled till after the king's funeral," he said.

The subordinate bowed and walked away. Ramsey was scared that if he were not careful, he would die without knowing the cause.
