Pretty Lots Of Damage.

"Dad, can you please explain to me how my parents really abandoned me?, I just can't sleep because of this stupid nightmares that I'm seriously having and I'm thinking they aren't nightmares but some kind of memories that might actually belong to me" Alpha Sanders stared speechlessly with jaws dropped slightly open, at Wren dropping that statement.

He always expected a day like this to come when she would ask him that question, but what he didn't expect was for it to approach so soon.

But despite the fact Alpha Sanders had no reasonable words to explain to Wren in full deets about the question she asked him right now, he still had to say something to her so as to pursue the dead silence that reigned in the room, so he asked.

"Can you first of all tell me how these nightmares of yours work out, eh bunny?".

Wren shook her head slightly, scratching the scalp, trying to recall the nightmare.

"It's just, I don't really know but it's kind of confusing. There was this little girl who looked literally like me and there was this man she called dad who wanted to play hide and seek with her but he wasn't able to come find her because this huge monster came instead and…" Her voice was gone because she had forgotten what happened next.

Alpha Sanders's heart beat so loud and raced so fast listening to Wren speak, that wasn't a nightmare but short flashes of memories he thought was lost forever.  Olson was right about her regaining some of her memories while growing up if only she was adamant.

Which meant he was going to pay him a visit, a visit he prayed to not happen but today it was definitely going to happen. Wren seemed to be adamant and he had to do something to stop her from fully regaining her forgotten memories or else things would start to get ugly.

And Alpha Sanders wasn't fully prepared for that.

But before that visit, he had to find something to make Wren forget about that question for the moment, so he just laughed it off, while Wren stared at him with an uncertain reason of why he laughed at her when she dropped that statement.

"It was just a nightmare bunny, not memories and some of them can be so real than you can ever imagine" Alpha Sanders continued with his laughter, hoping for Wren to just forget about what next she was about to ask him with the way her lips moved as if they were about to drop another question and just go back to bed.

"You didn't have to laugh, it wasn't that funny to me" Wren pouted with a sad look covering her face, while folding her arms between her chest.

"I'm so sorry bunny, but you were just too funny, go to sleep. I will tell you more about your parents when you are ready, you look like you still got sleep in your eyes" Alpha Sanders urged Wren, who reluctantly went back to bed not quite satisfied with the response she got from Alpha Sanders.

What did she expect him to say? when she was sounding so silly, herself. Those nightmares only looked real to her, so she should have thought about keeping it to herself rather than saying it out loud to someone else.

She was quite lucky she didn't speak about those nightmares to Tyler, if not he would have seen her as a clown and laugh at her way more than his dad even did.

Talking about Tyler, Where was he?.

"I promise" Alpha Sanders promised Wren, still urging her to sleep as he prepared to leave the room.

"Okay" She nodded, covering herself with a blanket while watching Alpha Sanders depart from her room, right after he switched the lights off. Running her hand round her right arm, Wren was quite relieved to see it healed.

There was school tomorrow and she was pretty sure she wasn't going.

****

The pack house was so lonely and quiet, and it seemed like everyone was asleep except for Alpha Sanders who walked and searched round the pack house, making sure everything was in order.

He also walked past Quinn's room where he could hear her pathetic sobs and whimper late at night, she was muttering and soliloquizing about something he couldn't quite understand until he heard his son's name.

Which reminded him of Tyler, who he went in search of to apologise, Alpha Sanders wasn't quite surprised to observe him still awake, which gave him the courage to knock which Tyler responded to, but observing it was his father, Tyler just locked the door.

He was still probably mad at him, Alpha Sanders thought, wanting to stay until Tyler would open the door but he still needed to find someone, who he left in search of with the hope of Tyler calming down by the time he would come back to check up on him again.

The passageways were a bit hazy except for the little sparkles of light coming off from the bulbs placed on the ceilings which helped to clear the gloomy dimness surrounding the passageways.

Alpha Sanders walked and stopped in front of a door, belonging to one of his old gifted pack members who he hardly visited unless he wanted something from him. He made it that way so nobody would ever find out what he had done.

"You can come in, the door is open already" A strong masculine voice from inside the room announced and Alpha Sanders pushed the door open slowly, finding his way into the room.

"Long time no see, my friend" The male who was lying on the bed, got up waving to Alpha Sanders who hissed and went straight to the point without beating around the bush.

"The girl that I brought to you here years ago, you told me it would be impossible for her to regain her memories. But it isn't happening like you told me, so I came to you for answers, what's happening?"

"I don't know?" The male gave Alpha Sanders a shrug for an answer, with a creepy grin forming on his lips. Alpha Sanders wasn't here to play which the male was fond of, he always preferred joking and not taking things seriously.

But he should have known Alpha Sanders wasn't the type to mess with since he always gets aggravated easily, it was in his nature and that grin on the male's face only aggravated Alpha Sanders more. Making him rushed towards the male and grabbed his left arm pushing him towards the wall and pinning him there.

The male yelled, struggling to set himself free from Alpha Sander's grip but his strength was clearly not a match for Alpha Sanders which made him scream. "My arm, you are hurting me!".

Alpha Sanders gave deaf ears to the male, whispering into his ear. "Now listen to me, Olson" The male was still pinned hard against the wall with his deafening screams, Alpha Sanders didn't yield to.

"You are going to stop acting like a fool because as you can see, I didn't come here for your bullshit so now you are going to do as I say and explain to me in full details about what I came for, do you understand me?"

"I do, I do!" Olson hurriedly responded, hitting his palm on the wall in defeat and groaning in pain after Alpha Sanders released him. He slowly walked towards his bed and sat on it, checking his arm out for dislocation and sighed gracefully upon seeing none.

"So?" Alpha Sanders cocked a brow questionly, staring at Olson still busy with his arm and successfully drew his attention towards him.

"She's adamant"

"So?".

"I wiped away her memories but she's adamant and that's why she was able to recall" Olson made known to Alpha Sanders who was still unclear about what he just said to him now, and Olson explained further before Alpha Sanders could go on with his questions.

"I'm gifted with the ability to make one forget, but if the person is adamant then they can be able to recall, only if that person is adamant which I'm thinking she is".

"So what do we do now?, I don't need her having her memories back or I will definitely lose her" Alpha Sanders asked impatiently, searching for Olson's eyes for answers, also hoping he really had one unless he had nothing else in mind to do.

Olson observed the worry covering Alpha Sanders's face, he looked more than desperate for answers which he was going to give him but it wasn't going to be the exact one he wanted.

"I can make her forget again if you want but things can go a little bit way over the notch".

Alpha Sanders' face lit up but furrowed back into worry when he heard Olson's last sentence. There was hope at first until Olson dropped that last statement. Those things Wren called nightmares weren't really nightmares but short pieces or fractures of the memories that got wiped off her memory when she was still a kid.

And it seemed like she was regaining them back fast, and that must not happen, not yet, because Alpha Sanders was definitely going to lose her which he didn't want, so he asked.

"I can make her come so you can wipe her memories once more, but what do you mean by things going way over the notch?".

Olson leaned closer, whispering to Alpha Sanders who went and closed the door, something he forgot to do earlier when he came in and moved back towards Olson after he was done with the door, who then made known to him.

"If I make her forget for the second time even though she's adamant, it may or may not affect her brain which may make her lose it, if it does affect her brain depending on whether she's strong enough to handle everything. But if her brain still tries to recall, which is possible to happen and still not possible, there's going to be pretty lots of damage"
