The Painful Truth

"What the hell?" Conner said looking at him and Carlos looked like he was shaking with anger. His eyes darker. He looked like he wanted to hit something.

"What the hell?" He said mockingly, "You asshole, I want a goddamn answer as to why! You love your job that fucking much? More than an actual human being who clearly cares about you? Who is clearly willing to put up with the bullshit to be with you? That you made promises to?!" He definitely was shouting now.

"Keep your voice down." Conner snapped because he didn't know who might be listening. The device he had disabled audio equipment with in a certain distance, but outside the home who knew. Not to mention anyone could walk up and be listening. Wasn't like he went around the outside to make sure, at least the windows were closed.

'I will not keep my fucking voice down Conner!" Carlos came around and stood before him.

"You'll keep it down, or regret it." He told him fiercely.
