"Here I thought you were going to make an excuse and not say it." Mason commented with his knowing little grin. Adina stared at him for a moment and let out a sigh. She went to move but his arm didn't budge.

"Well if you are going to be that way about it." Adina grumbled at his tease of her. He leaned forward rather quickly and met her mouth holding it for just a moment.

"I can be a lot of ways about it Adina. I am happy you agree, that you believed what you saw. I did tell you what Kaleer found out there. We know part of our mate here is alive, that means her chi is alive too." He told her.

"I am Atlantean though." Adina was still confused, she was not a dragon.

"It's just an interracial marriage is all. I'm down with that." Mason told her and for a second he saw a twitch of a smile on her lips.
