Those That Betray

Portia took a few breaths, slung the bag over her shoulder and walked fast. The entire time that she was moving to where she had been staying she was thinking in her head the most logical story. What was she going to say, how was she going to lie? Also she was going to punch Chase in the face if she saw him. Just a good old one two in that prissy little mouth of his. If he had kept his mouth shut none of this would be happening right now.

Portia came up to the hotel and was fast to go up the entry stairs. She did not have a key to her room. She stopped at the front desk and hoped like hell that they would remember her and not make her give some form of identification. Luckily they did remember and she got her key to enter the room. She breathed a sigh of relief and took the stairs to the second floor. The place was decent, and clean.
