Shuu

(Today, year 576)

A solid peak because of The Creator's Hand, soars to slice the sky. There is a house at the end of the peak as if escaping from the deadly silence of the Forest behind and below it. The house had cubicle walls and thatched roofs looked shabby and smelled of termites feasting on the bones of the house. The house tilted, like the Italian Tower of Pisa longing to be one with the ground.

From the house, a blanket of heaven could be seen descending to the earth, permeating the scent of the land of heaven, and a little angel descending from above, wobbling. Her eyes flowed looking for the earth below. She is an angel who wants to take a bath even without a rainbow.

Not far from her destination, she saw an old figure who was busy planting seeds in the ground, like sowing love on the earth. The person held the bag containing the seeds in his left hand and dismantled a bit of soil with the hoe in his right hand, then...

Splash!

Instead of the sound of the ground grinding, it was a momentary drizzle that splashed the ground.

"Daaadd" a soft voice escaped from the little angel's red lips.

Her skin was white and smooth and radiant, making her sparkle when washed with water, her silky hair giving way when played with water. Her face is very cute and cool to see. While the old man smiled briefly in response to the call and then the old man's eyes darted in all directions, his eyebrows narrowed, busy looking for a blind spot even though making sure no one saw his 12-year-old children taking a bath.

In the distance, the bushes were crazy playing with the wind. Two young men aged 16 years were busy looking for light in the hollow of the bushes. Their pupils widened and contracted to make the light they saw clearer, and the question marks on their chests were released at the sight. The smile that appeared on their faces was suddenly covered by the leaves and covered their mouths. Their feet and hands were tied together by the roots of the bushes that suddenly emerged from the ground without making a sound. They were locked, their eyes were wide looking for answers, and their hearts were beating fast and crazy, inviting sweat to come and gather between their fingers.

The old man looked intently into the hollow of the bushes that flowered with eyeballs, then put down his farm implement, pulled his sleeves up to his elbows came over to them, and dragged his hoe in his right hand.

The sound of the hoe dragging made the hearts of the two young men explode out of control. They die of lice. Surrender to being the prey of a hunter. The old man's face was right above them, closing the horizon window, giving the message that they would never see the sky again. Like an angel of death! But it turned out that the old man was still resting on the ground and swinging the hoe in front of them with a smile showing his incomplete row of teeth.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!"

Hearing where the voice came from, the little girl immediately took her red scarf to cover herself, ran with her small steps, and made a wet trail on the ground.

"Get out of here you guys!" while untying them with his magic power.

They also ran away and did not dare to look back. Stumbled many times with the bushes and trees ahead blocking them. The little angel came while looking at them from a distance in surprise.

"Dad, why is anyone here? Didn't you say no one lives here?"

The old man looked agitated and clicked his tongue. "They're not here Shuu, they live in a village far away for more than a day on foot"

She couldn't believe what came out of her father's mouth. The information became a very big question mark in her head.

"That means there is a village or people except us? Let's go there Dad" Shuu coaxed holding her father's arm seductively.

"Remember! We have to stay here, that's an order from the God of the Mountain, and remember those who came here to see you take a shower. That's harassment. You should stay away from those people."

Shuu was silent, just silently staring at her father's sharp gaze. From the bottom of Shuu's heart, she wanted to have friends, but if that was what her father said that the boys had abused her, then there was only justification.

"Alright" Shuu replied in a hoarse voice and stepped back.

The middle-aged man finally saw the shadow of the children who were getting further and further up the hill, coming to the home.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ooo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The two youths ran with their chests getting tighter and tighter and then a smile appeared on their faces when they saw the village border.
Bruuukkkk!!!!
They landed their backs on the rocky bottom of the borderland and then caught their ragged breaths. Immediately the people around looked at them confused and then resumed their activities.
"Maybe this is a decent value if you want to see heaven, huck-huck"
The brown-haired youth said without catching his breath.
"That's right Odi, we have seen heaven and it's like coming back from the dead"
"Bavi, that girl is very beautiful even though she's still young. I can't imagine how beautiful she will be when she grows up, until now my heart hasn't stopped beating fast" Odi tried to reach his chest with his arms while looking up at the sky.
"She drives me crazy too" said Bavi.
"Why is she living in such a lonely place? Even though I know it's very beautiful because it's Mount Wura. Is she angel-like in the legends? How about we take her scarf? Can't she fly?"
"I don't know" Bavi snorted.
"If you want to make sure we have to go there again" he continued.
Odi looked at his friend like he couldn't believe what he heard like the answer to his wish.
Hey, why are you looking at me like that? Bavi muttered.
"Eee- we're not going there again are we?" Bavi narrowed her eyebrows as if he didn't want to hear her friend's answer.
"Of course-"
Durrrr!!!
A small explosion appeared around them creating a plume of smoke. A tall, fat figure with a thick mustache appeared to emerge from the smoke with his hands on his hips.
"Uncle?" Bavi looks pale and leaves his place and leaves Odi.
Odi saw his father was furrowing his eyebrows with a red face looking angry.
"Where have you been? You brat!"
"D-dad, I'm sorry. I just came out of death, please forgive me"
Dobe, who was covered in anger, tried to understand what his son meant. Then he saw lots of red and swollen blisters on Odi's feet and hands.
Dobe tried to sit up and looked at his son's wound.
Is this magic? He was startled. Like knowing the type of magic that makes wounds like this. He tried to remember the pattern.
"Are you going to Wura Mountain?" Dobe asked.
Odi was surprised that his father immediately found out.
"Y-yeah. That's right"
Odi's answer made Dobe confused and pale. Dobe dragged his son's hand towards the house.
After arriving home, he immediately asked why he had come to Mount Wura, which was very remote and far away. Mount Wura is the highest mountain in the Land of Wirata and to get to the peak, many are lost and do not return because of the thick silence of the forest.
Odi explains that he and Bavi initially only hunted for medicinal plants and they didn't realize it until they got lost in the middle of the forest. They were lost for 3 days. They rely on food from the surrounding plants. They have no clue. They surrender if they die to be guardians of the mountain and then they try to pray to God. After that the weather was quite foggy and cold, they could only see and follow the towering mountain and then came to the first spring of Mount Wura.
Odi and Bavi saw the expanse of corn, tubers, and vegetables under the spring.
"I like seeing heaven Father. I think I died and was in heaven. Beautiful scenery, heaven's gatekeeper, and a nymph".
Dobe was shocked when he found out that there were two people there. Then asked if it was true that Odi was not hallucinating, then whether the estimated age the child was 12 years old.
Odi smiled and his face reddened when he remembered the nymph then he nodded.
Dobe slumped limp and trembled. His face was pale and sweaty.
T-that kid. He-he's really... here...
