A Wish

Right now there was nothing he could see behind the window to distract his heart and mind which were busy with questions.

Shuu took a deep breath letting out a warm air that condensed into steam and looked at the box of food on his desk that Odi brought last night.

It had been seven days since Shuu found out he was a boy. Shuu still locked himself in the Library. Prajo and Dobe had persuaded him to go home, but Shuu was reluctant to go.

Jessy and Odi brought food, blankets, and clothes for Shuu every day. When Shuu chose not to leave the Library, the Library was always crowded with villagers of all ages coming to the Library just to see Shuu. Some of them gave gifts and food to Shuu.

Shuu didn't want to go home and stayed at the table reading, he read all the books in the Library like thirst. Even books that are not very important he reads.

"No I do not. Sorry but that little book on the librarian's data is the last book we have."

Shuu felt instantly confused and saddened to hear that answer. He felt he had to read a lot of books otherwise he would be left behind and felt he was an idiot.

"Dad, I want to go to Vigza Academy"

Everyone in the room was shocked to hear that. Odi was even more surprised to find out that Prajo was his father, not his subordinate or grandfather. Odi felt that even if Prajo was young, his face would not be similar to Shuu's and the complete opposite.

Jessy also responded in a small voice.
