Tell me about the Magesterium

"You don't have to worry about it, your parents are fine, master Hiroshi will take you to them when he comes back," Fuji told kai, he took his earphones and put them on.

Kai sipped his tea, he looked around the kitchen and it was lit, he took another sip and then he remembered that he hadn't brushed, he shrugged it off and his eyes set on a mug written Magisterium in gothic.

Thoughts popped into his head, Botan has been telling him that he will be enrolled into the Magisterium where mages are but he hasn't gotten the idea of what the Magisterium will look like.

He wondered how he will get a better description of the Magisterium, Fuji's stool adjusted as he danced with the flow of the music he was listening to. At that time Kai knew that Fuji will be in a good position to tell him all about the Magisterium.

"Hey". Fuji was still keeping up with the music, Kai frowned, "what's with this guy and music". He tapped Fuji again.

"Aye Kai" Fuji removed his left earphone, "Any problem?, You want more tea?".

Kai waved it off, "Am ok, I just need you to explain a few things to me".

"Ok, what could that be?".

"About the Magisterium" Kai finally said.

Fuji removed his right earphone, "Well, Magisterium is where mages like us stay, it's a school of magic filled with magicians".

"I get that point but how is it like?, Like the normal school I go to? Or is it just like mages wake up in the morning and start training to be strong?".

Fuji laughed, "It's like the normal school you go but the difference is that magic runs almost everything, if I must say it's a very interesting place you'll ever be" Fuji paused a bit, he looked up like as if he was trying to remember something, "Aha!, You know about Harry potter right?".

Kai nodded.

"It's just like that in Magisterium but more interesting, you have to go to school, read your books....."

"Hope there's no history" Kai cried in his head when he heard read your books.

"......., Train your magics, pass your Tests both physical tests and writing tests to get a high rank"

"Rank?".

"Yeah, you need to do very well to get a high rank, we have A-rank mages, B rank, C rank, D rank and S rank".

"So A rank is supposed to be the highest rank of all while S rank is the lowest, right?".

Fuji added a little hot water to his tea and sipped it, "S rank is called special rank, they're assumed to be extraordinary", Fuji's eyes sparkled as he said that.

Kai noticed it, "Ok, let me guess, you're an S rank mage?".

"Affirmative, you need more cream for your tea?" Fuji requested as he adds cream to his tea.

"No, am fine" Kai waved it off, "Well, what is your power again?".

Fuji's eyes sparkled again and it made Kai wonder what was so special about the question he asked.

"Telekinesis" Fuji replied with enthusiasm.

"Something about control of objects" Kai added.

"Yeah, not just objects but anything within my power", Fuji looked around, he wanted to demonstrate it, "Ok, Kai watch this", He made the cream can slide towards Kai, "Much like this".

"So there are many like you?".

"Yeah, there are other S rank mages and they're in the Magisterium or at duty".

"So, what are you doing here if other S ranks are in Magisterium?"

Fuji laughed, "Just like I said before, either they're in the Magisterium or...."

"...at duty, I got that" Kai intercepted.

"If you did, you would know why am not there then".

"So you're at duty".

Fuji nodded.

"What kind of duty?" Kai asked him.

"Well, protecting master Hiroshi" Fuji smiled.

Kai thought what Fuji said was an act of irony and sarcasm, he laughed, "Very funny of you".

Fuji looked at him, "Huh?".

"How can you protect master Hiroshi where he can protect himself with his magic".

Fuji smiled, it was then he knew that kai didn't know much about Hiroshi, "Master Hiroshi doesn't have magic or powers".

Kai was stunned immediately he heard that. Fuji continued, "Master Hiroshi is a martial artist, a fighter or a samurai".

Kai wondered how it related to knowing about magic.

"I know you will be wondering how master Hiroshi is involved with us the Mages" Fuji smiled.

"Obviously," Kai said.

"Well, his father married a mage but unfortunately master Hiroshi didn't inherit any power but he didn't accept the fact he was ordinary, he wanted to be extraordinary and strong like his mother, so he went into martial arts and he's very good at it, he fought mages with magics and won them, well he was referred as the Mage Hunter".

Fuji drank a sum of tea because the long speech he had just given made him feel dry and empty. He looked at Kai and saw he was still stunned. He heard the gates open and a car drove in.

"Hiroshi is back" Fuji stood up, he went to Kai, "You might as well prepare, you'll be going to see your parents". He walked to the door, "Don't let your tea cold", then he walked away.
