The shower went off but the dripping of water continued, water rippled as Kai stood up from the tub, he looked at the mirror which showed his light skin, his eyes went from his body to his hair, and he stared at his white hair and remembered what Anko usually say about great Hokage having white hair.
Kai chuckled when the thought crossed his mind, he was beginning to feel the absence of Anko, he was going to miss him and his troubles, if Anko will find out about him having some mystical powers, Anko will ever praise himself for being right that he was extraordinary.
Kai sighed, he heard a knock on his room, "Kai, are you ready?". Kai hurried out of the bathtub splashing water on the carpet, he picked up the hair drier, "I'll be out in a minute". The whirring sound of the hair drier filled the room.
Hiroshi sat in the sitting room, he rubbed his aching neck on the soft sofa and picked up the glass cup of whiskey which he poured out for himself.
Kai badged in, "Sorry", he was putting on a hood with coverage behind and some black fitted pants, on his feet were white sneakers.
"Sorry for taking time to prepare..."
"It's no problem, actually it's your first time here" Hiroshi smiled, he stood up, "Let's go see your parents".
Kai and Hiroshi walked out of the house, they went straight to the ash car parked in front of the gate.
Kai sat in front, he looked out of the window to have a clearer view of the house's surroundings.
"Do you mind?".
Kai turned sharply at Hiroshi, "Huh?".
Hiroshi motioned him to put on the seat belt, "Buckle up".
"Oh", Kai drew the seat belt and locked it in across his body.
Hiroshi turned on the ignition, he looked at Kai "You good?". Kai nodded.
They swerved into the road heading for the safe house, Kai sat back and watch out of the open window, seeing interesting stuff made him relaxed, there were a group of people celebrating a carnival, their face painted and dancing in a rhythmic pattern.
Japan always have a reason to celebrate in any particular season, heroes from the past, traditions and culture were the thing that made Japan a happy place to stay. It was a place for tourists who are always curious about history and Japan is also a nation that bore so much great history.
Hiroshi noticed that Kai was attracted to the carnival.
"It's colourful".
Kai drew his attention from the window, he closed his eyes and sighed, "Yeah, they're colourful and I was born in one of these celebrations".
"Matsuri festival".
Kai looked at him and laughed a little, "Seems like you know a bit about me now".
Hiroshi grinned, "Everything about you is about to be a history, a heroic history".
Kai won't admit that he hates hearing those pathetic words, he just nodded and looked back at the window, his eyes begin to get blurry until he dose off.
***********
Dark burnt ashes were falling from the grey sky, everywhere was heated, fire in the form of a wrecking ball rose in the sky against a smoky substance but they were useless cause it didn't do any harm it, immediately the smoky substance spread like a sheet covering the little light coming from the sun in the grey sky, suddenly, cries of men and women rose, some were gagging and struggling to breathe as the smoky substance went around their neck and body, it rose one of the men up, tying him round and round, the man kept struggling as dark stretches begins to climb in his body and at that point, he started wriggling, "Help!"
"Help!!", "Help!!!".
"Kai" A male voice called him, he came back to his mind and noticed that there were tears in his eyes, he turned to look at the man behind him, he was wearing a samurai mask looking like a carved tiger's face. Kai didn't know if he should run because there was nowhere to run to, people are dying, he closed his eyes and shouted.
"Kai".
"Leave me alone!" Kai leapt, the seat belt jerked him back and that hurt his cheat.
"Kai, what's the problem?" Hiroshi stared at his strange outburst, he wondered what Kai was seeing in his sleep but he knew it must've been something scary.
Kai held his chest, "Ouch", he unlocked the seat belt and sat forward to ease off the pain in his chest.
Hiroshi watched him for some time, he didn't know if Kai would survive having the chaos curse in him but he didn't want to start now to bring down his spirit about it.
"It's alright, let's go your see your parents". Hiroshi opened his door, "I'll help you" Hiroshi lend a hand to him, and Kai took it, "Sorry if I bothered you, it was a dream".
Hiroshi smiled and nodded, he helped Kai down from the car.
"Wow, where's this place?".
"Our safe house" Hiroshi smiled.
