Devyn grabbed the man by the hair and then she placed one foot on Kiel's chest. "You are so obedient. Do you know that it was a privilege to be stepped on by me?" she smirked.

"What took you so long?" She scanned him from head to toe. "You smell of alcohol!" She exclaimed.

"I'm sorry for not taking your call last night. " He looked around outside the cafe. "The sun was so hot today. Want to talk at my place?"

Feeling the heat air, Selene nodded. She realized that her brother dashed here right after texting her. She put her hands in her pockets. "I'm sorry for calling out of the blue. Did you have lunch?" She asked.

"Aish~ you're making me feel guilty." She hailed a cab. "Let's go to your place, brother."

Kiel took a quick shower upon reaching his apartment. He changed into simple clothes and told his sister to wait for him in the living room.

Selene opened the television and once again saw the news about the Remus and Lowell Clan's partnership feeding the media. Her brows scowled and she turned off the television. "Why is it that everywhere I look I'm always seeing them?"
