Chapter thirty

After handy, who was a professional pilot landed the jet safely few meters away from their destinations. The six of them got down, with Cel leading the way. A laptop still In his hand.

"It says here that there's a small Lane leading to the back of the cottage. If we get there we can enter through the supposed back door." Cel advised.

"Are the cops on their way too" Marcus asked.

"Yeah, they're following behind the other men coming and they'll be here in an hour and thirty minutes time" Stella answered.

"Do not kill anyone, fight them off barehands, don't kill, when the cops come, they'll Continue their jobs" ben informed the others. And they nodded.

"Stella and Taylor will go and find Sophie, I and the rest will keep them off. Then don't let anyone escape. I want every single one of them arrested."

"Yes sir" they chorused silently and began walking up the lane leading to the cottage.

It wasn't an easy walk but no one dared complain.

At last they could sight the cottage few feets away from them and Taylor, the leader of his men. Led the way. Marcus was behind him and Stella was in the middle.

The back door to the cottage thankfully was opened. It was a very long and isolated looking cottage, and the inside was cold, damp, dark and quite. So this is where they kept his pregnant Sophie. He thought as they all walked silently in.

Taylor grabbed Stella's hand and they went off in search of Sophie.

An ear piercing scream drew all their gazes to the second floor and they all rushed upstairs. Marcus didn't even wait, he kicked the door to the room where Sophie's voice could be heard opened. There she was, a big bulky man trying to have his way with her. She was fighting him so hard. Even though her face showed how weak she was.

His woman!

He ran towards the man and dragged him up. Stella quickly helped Sophie on her feet. She couldn't even stand on her own. Cel helped in taking her down the stairs.

Two men tried to attack them on their way out but Taylor and Ben was quick to react. And they beat both men to a pulp dragging them to a table placed in the center of the room and tying them to it.

"The cops will meet you here." Ben said dusting his hands.

Marcus came down the stairs with handy, the bulky man in their middle also beaten to a pulp. They tied him too with the other men and Marcus told Ben and Taylor to stay with them till the cops arrive.

Brian was nowhere to be found. They searched around the whole area but couldn't find him. Neither could Marcus find Stacy, his ex who was behind this all.

Those two!

He will surely get them. Maybe not today but he'll get them for sure and when he does, he'll skin them alive.

**** ****

Sophie was so weak that she passed out in Stella's arms. And after laying her in one if the seats in the jet, Stella got a plastic water bottle and a white towel. He made the towel damp a little and she began cleaning her forehead and face with it. Just then Marcus climbed in.

"How's she?" He asked Sophie. Leaning by her side and touching her forehead. She was hot. And looking as pale as ever.

He was scared and worse angry. He wanted to cry. His Sophie. His baby.

"She passed out but it's okay. She just need to see a doctor probably, and a few days rest will solve this. I hope her baby is okay."

Marcus hoped so too.

"Handy!!" He almost screamed.

The man ran and climbed into the jet.

"Yes sir.". Handy answered " Start the plane. We're going back. Leave Ben and Taylor here. Cel?" He called the to make sure the man was with them.

"Yes" he answered significantly.

"Ok now handy....let's go. The other two will be coming back with the men. They'll soon be here anyways"

With this, handy got ready and after making sure they were ready. He started the jet, and took off.

Marcus made sure she was safe all through the journey home. She still hasn't woken up and he was worried. Even Stella was too because a frown was plastered on her face.

Cel didn't mind. He just kept typing away on the computer. With Sophie head tucked gently on his laps, Marcus slightly turn to look at Cel.

"Did you install the cameras?"

"Yes sir, I did. That's what am trying to process here right now."

"Cameras?" Stella asked confused.

"I hid some cameras in the room where the kept Sophie, where the men where tied and also the main entrance. To see who comes and goes." Cel explained.

"Wow! Brilliant " She said.

Cel smiled to himself. He was glad she thought he was brilliant.

They landed an hour later, a car was already waiting for them and after Marcus strapped Sophie cautiously to the seats, he got into the driver seat, with Stella at the back with Sophie. And he drove off to the hospital.

Nothing must happen to Sophie. Nothing must happen to his baby.
