Chapter fifty nine

"Leave what you're doing and help me check out who ever had sent those gifts to the house" Marcus told Stella, dropping the files in his hand and turned away from the computer.

"Okay sir, I think Leslie did though, She sent a message yesterday that she was sorry for hurting Sophie and sent that as a show of apology, You where busy, that's why I never told you about it"

Marcus turned back to look at her and sent her a hard glare.

"You should know I'm never too busy for matters that concerns Sophie!"

"I'm sorry sir"

"Call Sophie and explain this to her. I don't know if she should keep them Leslie's a bitch. Not compared with Stacy though"

Stella nodded her understanding.

"I think so too, it wouldn't be a good idea for her to keep them, but if she was truly apologizing, then it would be a pain disposing them"

"So you mean she should keep them?"

Stella shrugged "You need to decide that sir."

"Do not call her yet, I already told her to not touch them until I can find who they're from. so still leave it at that."

Stella nodded."Ok sir"

After Stella walked out, Handy and Taylor walked in.

"Everything is set sir"Taylor said

"Good, now send a message to Stacy that we've got her mother and son, then tell Brian we already have a list of his crimes. Tell them where we're intending to meet up and if any of them fails to show up....tell them the consequences"

"Yes sir!"

"Good, now leave"

They both walked out of the office and Marcus relaxed back against the chair.

He knew his plan wasn't going to be be easy pull out but they needed to give it their best try.

Stacy paced around her living room, agitatedly and angry.

"How the hell did he ever thought to them. My boy, my Aunt."

"You should have taken them elsewhere, instead of leaving them in that pit of slum....." Brian wasn't even allowed to finish his sentence.

"Shut the fuck up fool, if you hadn't abandoned me at the last moment, I would have looked for a way to get them outta there, but you just did what you wanted"

"What I wanted? Was I the one who told you to leave your responsibility and go back to that cunning Marcus who'd sweet talk you into a futile relationship"

Stacy hissed "Whatever...I.....it's just...just what the hell do we need to do now?!"

Brian stared at her, the only reason why he'd allowed her back into his game was because he thought her useful and he'll use her the same way Marcus had then dump her back.

And right now he knew they had to talk about the messages Marcus had sent to them. Then mostly what he wasn't revenging after bombing his car.

The bombing wasn't particularly his idea, it had been mostly Stacy's. But that doesn't mean it hadn't been his men whom had carried out the job.

"Why didn't he even just die!" Brian stated out if anger. And earn a look of discontent from Stacy.

"We aren't going to kill him Brian!"

"You aren't, but I will!"

"Why do you want him dead, just to get his properties, his companies...."

"The same reason you want him alive, that's the same reason I want him dead. For what reasons for you want him alive too?"

"I love him!"

"If you do then why the hell did you sleep with his father and got pregnant for him"

"Shut the fuck up Brian, I ain't got time to answer your shit of a question. we aren't talking about this now"

"You brought up the matter in the first place, if you want to keep rolling with me, you need to follow my plans and setup, you need to listen to everything I tell you to do"

"I've been listening to everything you told me to do, I'm just sensible enough to choose the ones I want to follow."

Brian stared daggers at her and she stared back.

"Marcus must be planning his revenge..."

"It's been three days now since we made the blow up, and he hasn't even done anything apart from the message he sent us" Brian said turning away fro. Stacy and went to sat down, dropping his walking stick by his side.

"You don't think he'll kill us if we heed to his call, would he?"

Brian shook his head grabbed the files on the table, staring absentmindedly at them.

"You're worried, aren't you?" Stacy could tell from his agitatedly frowning look. "You aren't even Concentrating on the files you're reading, are you that scared of Marcus, he isn't...."

"Shut up Stacy, shut....the....hell....up"

Stacy backed away.

"I'm only trying to think about what the hell we can do and you're just talking things out if sense. Sit down and think for yourself too you fool. Your son and Aunt are in his hands!"

"He can't hurt them" Stacy said in a matter of fact manner.

"What?"

"I said, he can't hurt them, that, I know for sure, but he'll use them to hurt me."

"He isn't a saint..."

"He isn't, but he doesn't hurt those who didn't hurt him"

"Wow!" Brian stared at her, trying his best to believe what she's trying to say. it's harder trying to believe you're hurting someone who did nothing to hurt you.

Brian hardened his heart again.

"How's the house they where giving?" Marcus asked Stella.

"They're okay with it, as long as it isn't leaking during the raining season and the walls aren't peeled off"

Marcus signed exasperatedly, Stacy was one hell of a woman. And he was going to make sure that he either kill her with his bear hands or put her right in her place.

"It's okay, Just make sure they're okay and contented, and make sure too that you assign one or two persons to guard them. I don't trust those two not to find out where they are, if they eventually do. they'll want to get them back"

"Okay sir, what do you plan on doing with them though, use them as a prey for Stacy?"

"Nah....I'm sure I know what to do, when it's time, I'll let you know."

Stacy nodded and walked out of the office.

He wasn't going to use anyone as prey for someone. That kind of action are conscience judger, and he hates it whenever his conscience keeps judging him.

Right now all he truly needed was a good sleep, good food and a long long bath.

He heartedly wished he could place his head in Sophie big soft stomach and drift silently and comfortably off to sleep.

And that was exactly what he dreamt of when he slept.
