Finally did some work

Lili was woken up by sudden cheers. It was only once, then it was quiet again. So, she decided to lay for a few more minutes in bed.

She wasn't quite a morning person. She was more like a night owl. Awake all night, sleeping during the day.

From her surroundings, she laughed. Obviously, Lei won the battle for her. She wasn't in a hotel room.

Where is the toilet? Still in her clothes, Lili rolled out of the bed and headed for the only doors in the room. She found a note pinned on them.

"This is the guest house. You know where the upper bathroom is. Have breakfast in the kitchen on right and come down. Either the team or I will take care of you." Lili smiled at the note. She did what he said, tried to clean her face with one hand, but it was hard.

Then she was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast he had prepared. It was a western style. Scrambled eggs, some sausages, and orange juice. And it was delicious. After that, she went down to the game room.

And she knew where that cheer came from. They were PKing against each other. Now she walked into another round of cheers. They were patting Yitian on the shoulders. He was the winner. They looked up and smiled at her.

"Hello, heroin." She winced at the weird pronunciation.

"What? Am I that addicting?" she asked, because, yeah, he pronounced it as the drug.

"Sure. Wanna play?" Chao asked, laughing. She just raised her eyebrow. He looked down at her arm, unable to move.

"Mmm. As I'm normally useful, now I would be even more." She just facepalmed herself in her imagination.

"Leilei is where?" she asked and forgot to call him by his last name.

"Hmm, Leilei, huh? That close already?" the guy, who was making fun of her for being a gamer girl before, said that. Lili didn't even blush.

"Where is he?" She arrogantly ignored his teasing with a grimace on her face.

"He had some business to attend to. He said to specifically take care of you. And that, if you are dissatisfied with something, he will tear our asses," Chao said. But Lili didn't think Leilei would say things like this. Cursing? That's not like him.

"I have no idea what I want to do…. Oh, where is my backpack?" she asked, looking around.

"A minute. I'll bring it for you. It's in the main house, in the boss's office," said one of the guys she didn't know the name of. But he was sitting beside that annoying guy from before.

"That would be awesome. Thank you…" She waited for his name before finishing the sentence.

"I'm Zhang Huobai. MoSHU, the magician," he said and left. But he was quickly back with her backpack.

She took out a box. Wherever she was, she always had a few things in her backpack. The normal things like earphones, phone, wallet, and jewelry things. Like measuring tape, a few chains, a few components, and some beads. Just for a quick bracelet or necklace. She was following a motto, always be prepared.

She took out her notepad, pencil, measuring tape, and a converting table. They watched her with curiosity.

"Oh… I forgot that you are a jeweler. You need the measurements, right?" Chao hit his palm with his fist as if he remembered something. And as a rightly chosen captain made everyone stand in a line.

They told her name, and she measured their left hands. She made some adjustments in converting. And finally, Lili did some work as she was supposed to.

"Alright, good. That's probably all I need for now." Lili was so immersed in work that she did not notice Leilei coming in.

He was just standing there, watching her work, thinking how beautiful she was. He walked to her with a bag in hand.

"Lucy is sending this. With Czech words that sounded probably like this, I can't guarantee the right pronunciation. It sounded so weird to me. It was like 'bezh do nye'." Lili almost choked herself on how much she wanted to laugh.

His Czech pronunciation was so funny. But she couldn't laugh or he would be hurt.

"Běž do něj," she said and smiled sweetly. Go for him.

"Thank you. I get it that you don't mind me being here?" She smiled, even more, when he took her hands into his, after putting the bag on the ground.

"I'm thrilled I have you here. We can spend more time together. I can get to know you more. Are you finished here?" She nodded.

"Then change if you want and come with me. I will take you on a round of fun," he continued. She looked at her hand in the brace.

"There is probably no girl to help me change, right?" she asked, and laughed at their expression. No girl could ever go into their sacred room. Lili felt so special at the moment.

"Nevermind. I can move it a bit. There won't be a muscle knot from a slight movement," she said and went upstairs with Leilei, who was carrying all her things.

Lili changed into jeans and a red t-shirt, grabbed her backpack and stuffed it with the black cardigan, and ran out of the room. Right into Leilei's arms. He smiled and pulled her into a hug.

"I think fate is telling you something," he suggested, and Lili laughed.

'Yeah, it's saying ride him when you can,' she thought, but she said nothing like that.

"Yeah, it is saying that I should sleep more and look where I'm going," she said instead.
