Suprise

The moment she sat behind the PC, she felt the examining gaze again. Her opponent sure was the Doom Thunder combo guy. Which looked like fun. But for Lili, a bit demotivating was that she had like five people behind her as her support.

Meanwhile, he had the entire crew, like 50 or so people, just standing behind him. Nonetheless, to say that in front of the broadcasting screen, it was the same.

She felt so disheartened that she missed the starting countdown and stood there like an idiot… started so far, so good, right? She evaded his attack with a quarter HP lost. It looked like she ran out of luck to win.

Lili found a nearby bush to hide in and catch some breath and started to focus on the game.

He found her quickly but was recuperated so it didn't catch her off the guard. They fought pretty much the same. The two same characters without any personalization. It just depended on their abilities.

And she had a little better APM because that guy was losing HP quicker than her. Or maybe Chao's sequence was the one at fault. Because when her opponent used the same trick as her, her HP went down a lot.

"Lili!" she heard her name yelled by a girl, and she knew Lucy was there. At the same time when she registered the yell, she lost focus and her opponent unleashed their best skill. She tried to avoid it, but he still scratched her and she lost.

Lili quickly turned around and saw a heavily breathing Lucy. She ran here. Lili wasn't even mad. She was supposed to be focused. So, it was her fault she lost.

They had a small ceremony. She got some gifts, a diploma, and was told that she had no chance to win. Jerks.

She ran back to Lucy, who was taking photos of her 'accomplishment'. Oh, she was live-streaming it. Lili looked at her watch. It was seven p.m. in Hong Kong. It was probably a live for Lei's side.

Somehow Lei and Lucy became brothers in crime. They made a battle plan for how to seduce me. Because it was not possible to inform him what she was and how she felt. Lucy had to conspire with him.

"Hi." She smiled and waved to the phone. But Lucy ended the live and was dragging her somewhere else.

"Quickly. I have a surprise for you. Crap, I hope it moved. Because it would be drenched." Lili became suspicious of her. It took them a while to get to the door. Outside, it was pouring. And because nobody wanted to be outside in such heavy rain, the inside was packed.

"Oh, crap." Lucy cursed, and Lili looked right in front of her.

There were a few people staying at the doors, watching someone outside. And because she was really small, she only saw black hair. Lucy dragged her through the crowd and halted.

A guy was standing outside in the heavy rain. He was drenched through. And Lili knew the broad shoulders in a suit, his back, the silky hair.

"I told him to wait here and not move, but one would say he will take a cover against the rain." Lili felt like in a drama movie. When the person slowly turned around. She was like in a daze and walked towards him.

"You came," she stated the obvious, and he nodded.

"I told you that when you finish the bracelets, I will come and get them. I just did not expect it would be so soon." Lei smiled and bent down.

"You did a really good job. I missed you." He whispered into her ear. So close she felt his breath. Lili got goosebumps. Now she did not care where she was or who was watching them.

When he was straightening, she caught his face. Looked into his eyes. So black, so deep. And said only I missed you so much before kissing him deeply.

"Do they record MV? Movie?" Lili heard someone saying. Oh, good thing Lei did not understand.

"Lucy took you here?" She asked Lei when she nuzzled into his hug. She did not care about rain; his warmth was the only thing she needed.

"Mmm, let's go inside. I don't want you to catch a cold." He led the way through the crowd, then he was lost. She thought of it.

"Let's go this way. There is a place for cosplayers, maybe some of them will have a hairdryer." Lili took his hand and led the way. They have dried themselves thanks to one of the cosplayers she knew.

"I'm going to stay here with them. I have no desire of being the third wheel," Lucy said and sat at the chair that belong to the cosplayer's friend. Lili nodded.

"If you want to do something with me or are you bored or something, just call." Lili threw her the keys to the apartment they rented.

"Thank but I'm going to die and sleep," Lucy laughed and closed her eyes, leaning her head back. Lili took that as settled and turned to Lei.

"Want to have a look around?" She asked, and he nodded. They were walking hand to hand when they sometimes went to see some good. Surprisingly, he behaved like a child who was somewhere like that for the first time. He was touching a lot of things. Trying them. When he found a quite interesting necklace, he held it before her.

"It's so beautiful. Like you." Lili smiled, "why I have the feeling you became even more beautiful since I saw you last time." Lei smiled so handsomely that Lili forgot how to breathe for a brief moment.

They saw each other two days ago while on call. Lei bought the necklace and told her to turn around. He brushed his hands on her neck and Lili got goosebumps. Her neck was really sensitive, and it was like she was reacting even more to Lei's touch.

"Come back with me. Come back to China. With me." He turned her around. Lili did not have to think about it much. Her work could be done from everywhere.

"Sure. But spend some time here with me. How long have you planned to be here?"

"I have to be back in a week or so. Next Saturday is the last match. So, I need to fly to Beijing with the team." The way he said Beijing was so cute.

"Then spend time with me here." Lei just nodded.
