Flying

Lili watched both of the next day's matches the Vermillion dragon had with her head pounding. Every flickering of a light, every bass sound in the music was something that made her head pound.

It was because she drank Champagne yesterday. And she hated it. The bubbles hurt the inside of her mouth and it was sour, and what's worse, she knew her hangovers were terrible even after one glass. Lili felt run over by a truck.

So when the matches ended, she was happy and couldn't wait to get on the plane and just sleep. Because yesterday she…

She didn't have much sleep. Not surprisingly, Lei found out the slit in her dress was very arousing and his body thought alcohol was epic Viagra and wanted to show off to Lili.

They approached the team in the waiting area, in which they were let in.

"I do not know how, but congrats. You have won and got yourself into the quarterfinals." Lei chuckled and everyone laughed with her.

"What the heck did you make Yinli's weapon from? Healer's blood?" Huobai turned to Lili and asked, shocked. She just chuckled and shrugged.

"I forgot. Maybe it was the other way around, and instead of Agapanthus, I used Amaranthus? I don't remember. So you have to train with it and maybe you will figure out what's wrong with it." She laughed, and the team was speechless. But she honestly had no idea. Yinli's spheres were just completely made by accident.

"We need to go and catch the plane. We are going to drop by in Hong Kong and then we will fly to Czechia. I hope you will be okay from now on. Oh, and be careful when you go to the bus." Lei said and Huobai frowned.

"Why?" he asked. Usually, there were guards calming down the fans.

"Lanbo is leaving too, so they assigned more guards to them than to you. I told them you will leave the backdoor, so don't forget to go there after you are done with everything." Lei shared, a little bit scared for them, but he tried his best. Heck, he even asked for help from Mr. and Mrs. Min, Lili's new friends from yesterday.

"I believe you can do it alone. You are all adults. And all the business things were taken care of. And if something arises, Yusi will contact us." Lei said, patting Huobai's shoulder. Only Lili knew that Mimi would ask their team to take care of Zhu long and in the evening they would perform their duty, earning new friends.

"We have to go, be careful," Lili said for the last time and waved at them. Both Lei and Lili left hoping everything would be alright with them.

They ended up sleeping in the plane, their heads laying on each other. And being photographed twice, because some passengers thought they were celebrities and just too cute.

Well, somehow it got to a person who knew Zhu long and was a fan of Lei. She shared it on Weibo and this way, Lili and Lei made it into a lower-ranked hot topic. They were labeled as a down-to-earth and cute couple, and Lili's image was totally destroyed because she was drooling on Lei's shoulder.

Yixing laughed so much thanks to that, that he immediately sent it to Lili, who read it only after landing in Hong Kong. But it was only a quick pit stop there.

They both went to visit Chao and Yitian in the hospital and then went back to their house, sleep again. The next day, they were picked up by Lei's father and on the way to Czechia.

Lili was quite stunned by the amount of luggage the Jin family carried. She immediately took out her phone and warned Mary to buy some more expensive gifts.

"Don't worry. I have a surprise with your father for them. Michal helped us to contact a designer. We have something really precious and unique," her mother said, and Lili was even more scared. She knew her mother's taste was horrible and just hoped that her father could hold her down.

But then again, Lili remembered how much of a word her father has in her family and sighed loudly.

"What happened?" Lei asked, sitting beside her, holding her hand and stroking it. Lili looked at him with her eyes wide with desperation.

"I'm sorry for everything my parents will do or give you. They have no taste whatsoever," she said tragically. But Lei and his father, who sat in front of them, only laughed.

"It's okay, we won't get offended." They agreed to get settled down in a hotel in the capital city because in her hometown there was nothing like a nice private restaurant to have for the first meeting. So her parents would travel there too, all living in the same hotel.

"Have you booked separate rooms for us?" Lei asked and Lili looked at him with confusion on her face.

"Ehm, no, why should I?" she asked, but then it occurred to her. Different cultures.

"Oh, calm down. My parents prefer us to live together before the wedding. So we can figure out if we can communicate and not kill each other the moment we spend all day or week in one flat." Lei winced, but Lili kissed his cheek lightly, smiling.

"Keep calm. My parents trust me and my choice and even though they are not exactly happy with how quickly we are moving, they will be at least polite. But I have a feeling my mom will immediately love you," she said and chuckled when he imagined her mother's reaction to all the handsome guys she saw. Yep, she was going to love him…

"Mr. Jin, your jet is ready to take off. Please proceed to the gate." The flight attendant came and explained to Lei's father. But Lili was stuck on the words she said.

"Jet? Private jet? Not a plane? Did I understand right?!" she exclaimed, totally stunned. Lei covered her ears and smiled at her. It was the smile she loved the most. The one that reached his eyes and showed he was genuinely happy.

Lei kissed her lips and released her ears.

"Don't listen, don't worry. Just pretend you are in a business class or something like that," he said joyfully. But Lili rolled her eyes. What was she even doing with him? She was so done with it, but she wanted Lei. And wanted him rich or poor. It didn't matter.

But one thought crept up in her mind once they were boarding the private jet. You can't buy happiness, but it's better to cry on a private jet than in a lodging house…
