“I don’t understand,” Edwina remarked. “Are you not aware of these posts? Are you saying that Carter did this without your knowledge?”


“This is hard to explain,” Celia said, sitting down opposite Edwina. 


“I haven’t seen your children yet,” Edwina remarked. “They must be so cute. So, does Carter want to adopt them?” she asked in a low tone of voice. 


“Sort of,” Celia replied. “He usually jokes about getting married, but lately he is trying to help me out of all kinds of difficulties. I think he has a fixation on the kids.” 


“That happens sometimes, I know,” Edwina said smiling. “I’d like to meet your kids one day. Carter seems to have a soft spot for them.” 


“You can come over this weekend,” Celia suggested. “I’ll send you the address.”


Celia didn’t even mention the marriage and family post with Carter when he came in.
