Chapter 37: A Private Wedding

“There are certain people who expect to be invited because they are big in the business world,” Celia explained. “But if they come, we’ll have so much media coverage that it won’t be an intimate, private wedding anymore.”

“Okay, I understand,” Carter responded. “You actually just want our close friends there.”

“Yes,” Celia replied, “only those who know our story and struggles, like Winnie, Georgina, Daniel, Grace, and Edwina.”

“Then I’ll stick to that and not invite the business community,” Carter promised.

“One good thing is that Georgina is out of the way,” Celia commented gratefully.

“Yes and that reminds me that Blake should also be there,” Carter commented. “He helped us so much on that night of Georgina’s attack.”

“You can’t go wrong in hiring a wedding coordinator,” Edwina advised. “Remember, if I had Carter’s money for a wedding, I would ask for the moon. So, a wedding coordinator will make your dreams come true.”
