A young girl could be seen strolling through the forest with no regard for her surroundings. She appeared to be around the age of ten. If she was human, that is. The young goddess Artemis skipped through the forest as the animals watched her curiously. She stopped as a small breeze flew past her. Her eyes shut tight as she listened to the voices carried by the wind.

She jerked open her eyes and looked in the direction of the cry. She immediately bent her knees and took off, the ground cracking beneath her feet.

"Oh no you don't!" she shouted as she approached to see a fawn being played with by a wolf.

"Back of you, oversized dog," Artemis warned the wolf.

"This is my prey." The wolf growled at her.

"Don't eat small babies. You can't have it. " She said angrily.

The wolf suddenly felt a strange sort of pressure on it. It felt like the girl was something it shouldn't provoke. Following its instincts, it quickly ran away.

She inched cautiously towards the now shivering fawn.

"Are you hurt? Why are you shivering? " She asked it curiously.

"What are you doing in the middle of the woods, young goddess?" Artemis spun around to face the source of the voice.

She held her breath in awe as she gazed up at the majestic stag towering over her. Its skin was as white as snow, and its antlers were so massive that she couldn't imagine how it walked with them.

"I am exploring."She stated it as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Young one, this is a forest for mythical creatures. It can be quite dangerous, even for a God, if they are unlucky enough to meet some of the more powerful monsters here. " The stag said, concernedly.

"Hehe, I was skipping lessons." And then I got lost. " Artemis laughed while sticking her tongue out.

"Hah. I suppose you are a troublemaker. But I must thank you for defending a member of my herd. Then I'll accompany you out of the forest." It said this as it began walking alongside the now-calm fawn.

"All right, what's your name?" While following her, Artemis inquired.

"Linus is my given name. If you want, you can ride on my back."

Artemis nodded and climbed aboard. Linus sprinted out of the forest, while she cheered for him to go faster.

A little later;

Asteria couldn't decide whether to be impressed or sigh as she watched her niece being escorted by Linus.

Five years had passed since the children were born. Olympian children develop uniquely. By the age of three, they have grown to the height of ten-year-olds. Only after they reach the age of 200 olympian years do they experience another growth spurt.

Her sister and she were attempting to teach the children some magic. However, both of them were uninterested, with Apollo preferring to sunbathe and relax.

Artemis would dash into the nearest woods, which were still more than 10 kors away, at the first opportunity.

"Thank you, Linus, for bringing her back," Asteria expressed her gratitude. It grunted in response.

"It says that it is only returning a favor to the young lady." Delos translated.

"Hehe, it's because I saved this little one." Artemis, who had jumped off Linus's back and was now holding the tiny fawn in her arms, said.

Asteria was speechless when she looked at Artemis. Artemis had been especially close to nature since her divinity began to form. Even among Olympians, she demonstrated the ability to communicate with animals. All Speak allowed them to talk to other humanoid beings but not to animals. Delos was the construct of the planet they were standing on, he was the only one who could communicate with the animals.

"Where did you get that baby deer, Sister?" Artemis looked up when she heard a loud noise and saw her brother flying towards her.

He learned to fly when he was four years old. He appeared to grow stronger as he was exposed to the sun. She was envious. During all of those spars, she had to be beaten up by her aunt while her brother could just sunbathe. Nonetheless, she dragged him to the spars so that he could share her misery.

Apollo nailed a perfect superhero landing and walked toward her with a big grin.

"Then I'll be leaving, little goddess," Linus said as he started to sprint away.

"Grandpa, I want to stay. The Goddess saved my life. I want to pay her back. " Hearing the voice, Linus looked back at the little deer in Artemis' arms.

"You do know what you are doing, don't you?" Linus said, looking back.

"Certainly, Grandpa." The fawn yelled as it jumped down, ignoring the puzzled looks of everyone around it. It bowed down to Artemis.

"In exchange for saving my life, I will follow you until you tell me otherwise." "Will you permit it, my lady?" it asked.

"Hmm, okay, I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm glad I get to keep you," Artemis chuckled.

"You stupid kid, it's a familiar ceremony." "It's the same as it offering to serve for the rest of its life," Asteria groaned. Artemis looked at the baby deer while half-heartedly listening to her grumbling aunt.

"Do you, by the way, have a name?" "Can I give you one if you don't have one?" Artemis inquired. It nodded.

"Then you will be Espen from now on."As soon as she said that, they were surrounded by a light, which caused everyone to look away.

There stood a tall, elegant stag as soon as the light settled in place of Artemis. It was black with golden runes all over it. It had a blue neckline with green eyes. Its antlers were magnificent, rainbow-colored with flecks of gold. (Looks like Xerneas). Epson stood by its side, looking like a miniature version of it. Others, including the gods, were struck by its gentle yet awe-inspiring aura, which demanded respect and attention.

"Wow, I am so cool," the stag squealed with Artemis' voice, destroying her image.

"Ugh. So if I am right, my niece can shapeshift. " Asteria said, looking her up and down.

"And it appears that she can only do that to creatures who are her familiars."

Leto, who was hiding behind a nearby tree, explained.

"When she transforms, she appears to be a stronger version of them. It's truly fascinating. She'll most likely become..." She went on rambling.

"Oh, you were there. Aren't you going to say something to your daughter about sneaking away from training? " Asteria asked her.

"You shouldn't interrupt my musings, deer sister. Get it, 'DEER sister'." Leto laughed.

"Stop making corny jokes," Asteria shouted.

"She is my daughter. As if a mythical creature could hurt her. " Leto said.

Leto approached her daughter and studied her.

"Can you change back? Just think that you want to turn back. It should work"

Artemis nodded as she followed her mother's instructions. She abruptly reverted to her original form.

"Mom, I feel a bit stronger. I think making it my familiar did it."Artemis said proudly.

"Haha, then I guess you found your way to get stronger. As they say ' Gotta Catch Em All'."

She then went near her and whispered"Now you don't have to worry about being left behind by your brother in training."

Artemis looked in surprise and then hugged her mother.

"Mom, Mom! What about me?" Apollo said floating around them.

"You too will be strong boy." Leto laughed while ruffling his hair.

"Okay, squirts. Because you won't be taking regular lessons, I believe I'll teach you how to use weapons." Asteria lifted them both by the collars.

"Finally!" The kids squealed together.

"Okay. Calm down now. First, let's go to the training room." she said as she led them away.
