Birth of a New Divinity Carrier

"Now close your eyes. It will be painful, but endure and you will return with your very own divinity." Ouranos said.

"AGHHHHHHH!!!!"

Painful was a huge understatement for what Ky was feeling at this moment.

It was as if he was struck by a few hundred thousand needles at the same time, across all of his body.

Not a single body part was spared, even his manhood…

"AHHHHHHHEEEEEEEE!" Ky's scream turned into that of a little girl, but he was not conscious enough to hear it.

Ky was fading in and out of consciousness constantly.

'I can do this!'

'This is nothing!'

'Imagine the pain mom and dad went through flying out of that plane, it was probably much worse than this!'

He began encouraging himself, so that he would stay conscious and not die trying to absorb the divinity of the Father of the Sky.

In reality, the pain he was going through was much, much worse than any pain his parents went through during their final moments.

They were dead almost on impact with the ground, so luckily their pain only lasted a few seconds before everything was over.

Ky began to feel something trying to invade his core.

A gold coated sliver of mana was making its way from Ouranos' oversized finger down to Ky's head and through his body to his core.

The long golden sliver started to pool together in the middle of Ky's core.

At first it was a large ball that took up most of the space in his core, but it started compressing in on itself after Ouranos lifted his finger.

"EEEEEEEEE!!!!"

The more the divinity compressed itself, the more pain Ky began to feel.

Everytime he believed the pain had reached its peak, it started to worsen even more.

After 5 minutes that felt like 5 years, the needles felt like they had now been coated in fire.

Ky felt as if he was taking a bath in lava with 200,000 needles sticking out of his skin.

He wasn't too far off.

His skin was currently falling off of his body at a visible rate.

He had long fallen to the ground and was laying on his back, so most of it was falling onto the ground beneath and around him.

More of those impurities he experienced with his mana core started coming out of his body around this time as well.

The quantity and smell was much more and worse than the first time.

If Ky wasn't so focused on staying conscious, he probably would have thrown up multiple times.

~

"Almost done kid, just a few more minutes."

Ouranos tried encouraging Ky, but it fell on deaf ears.

Ky had long stopped screaming.

After an hour of this excruciatingly painful torture, he got used to the pain.

It was still bad enough to where he had to focus his whole body and mind on it to stay conscious, but he was no longer screaming like a little girl that had her toy stolen by a cousin.

If Ky could see his body right now, he would understand why he was in so much pain.

His whole body had basically been rebuilt.

His facial structure stayed the same, but slight alterations made him much more handsome than before.

If his eyes were open, he would now see a deep gray instead of the previous bright blue.

His biceps and quads were now solidified and extremely visible even without flexing.

His abs also started to pop out more.

Other muscles started forming along his back, torso, and legs that previously were hidden behind the fat on his body.

If someone were to see Ky's body, they would believe he was the star player on whatever sports team he played for.

"Ughhhh."

Finally the pain started to fade and Ky let out a groan of relief.

He had no idea how he was able to stay conscious throughout the whole hour or more of pain, but he was glad he did.

"Good job kiddo. To be honest, we Primogenitors weren't too optimistic about our first candidates surviving the transformation, so thanks for not making me find a new one."

"Mmm." That was the only response Ky offered the cloud man.

Ky looked into his core again, and saw the golden ball was now very small.

It was the size of a very small sunflower seed.

Ouranos knew what he was doing so he said, "It will grow with time. One day your core will be made of the divinity itself. That's how you will know when you have become a true god and immortal."

*Ding*

[Congratulations! You have gained the divinity of the Primogenitor: Ouranos]

[Gained: Wind Attribute]

[Gained: Seed of Divinity]

[Gained: +24 stat points]

'Cool'

Ky passed out after reading the system messages.

~

"Hahhhhh." Ky let out a yawn and started to stretch after waking up.

The memories of what happened before he lost consciousness poured into his head.

"Cool." He mumbled again.

'Open Interface.'

'Close Interface.'

He saw his new stat points were already added into the proper ratio, so there wasn't much he needed to do.

The new Wind Manipulation skill was the thing that made him most excited.

Completely ignoring Ouranos who was sitting on his throne again, Ky closed his eyes and tried to sense the mana in the air.

This time instead of a warm blanket, the mana felt like a warm breeze brushing against his cheek on a chilly spring day. It also had a hint of rain water in its scent now.

It felt very refreshing.

'I'll play with this later.' He thought, opening his eyes.

Ky stood up and looked down at the reeking pile of impurities below him with his nose scrunched up.

"I'll handle that, haha." Ouranos said.

With a wave of his hand the pile was blown away and disappeared.

The impurities still on Ky's body got the same treatment.

He felt clean now, but it still didn't give the same satisfaction of a proper shower.

"Now what?" Ky asked.

"Now I send you back, and you are on your own from there." Ouranos replied.

"However, I like you, so I want to watch you for a while before its time for me to leave this place. Be safe Ky, and work hard if you want to survive and become a deity yourself one day. The divinity won't do all of the work, just make your work a little bit easier."

After that Ouranos waved his hand one more time.

"Thank you my lord!" Ky yelled with a bow before he disappeared.

If this was a week ago, Ky wouldn't have even said anything, much less thank Ouranos.

He was starting to grow mentally and he knew it would not be right to give his gratitude to the being who gave him such a big opportunity.

Ouranos smiled, but that was the last Ky saw of him.
