Lu Zheng possessed a jade seal which allowed him to transmigrate to an alternate world freely.
Initially, he thought that the alternate world which he frequented was but an ordinary ancient civilization. With no particular ambition in mind, he planned to become a merchant and enjoyed the casual life of a rich man. He would find a few pretty maidens to accompany him while he explored the place and enjoyed various delicacies. That would be his ordinary and mundane life.
His boring life lasted until the day he gave a beggar who showed up at his doorstep a meal. His jade seal obtained a strand of luck because of his action.
Since then, he encountered a fox demon visiting him during the day and a beautiful ghost looking for him at night.
The members of the Quanzhen Sect paid him tribute while some Buddhist monks stood in his path.
So, it turned out that this world was not ordinary.
This novel is really uninteresting, so much so that I actually had to take a break and listen to the new Drake album. To nobody's surprise, the Drake album was about as interesting as this so I came back to try read this again and then proceeded to die of boredom. This doesn't deserve a detailed review, there's a saying that the opposite of love is not hate but indifference and that more or less encapsulates how I feel about this. Dropped at CH 10 (idk). yawn(0)/5.
To the people who think this novel is slow or boring what's wrong with your head do you have an attention span of a goldfish or do you need the main character to face slap 30 arrogant young master and save a hundred jade beauties every chapter to be entertained. This is a novel with great pacing and great progression with every improvement feeling like it was deserved unlike some other novels where a magical spirit uncle in a ring given by his parents who disappeared when he was born or maybe you want to read a novel about an OP mc who conquers the world when is 12 years old because his system just gives him unlimited power for doing a couple of push ups.
Finally something good to read The way it's going is really interesting It's smooth easy to understand . And i like how the world bg info is being told through conversation betn mc and other characters and not some exaggerated naration And it does" not " have any of those s.... like coz the mc is best the greatest only he can travel betn world bla bla or fight while being a mortal blah blah blah
Not a bot 10/10 for creativity. It’s been a hot minute since we had an decent male lead novel involving transmigration. This ML is not a bloodthirsty faceslapping ego driven, harem seeking man. And I appreciate that. I also love that the story building is coming along steadily instead of in the form of historical infodumps I definitely think this is the best in this weeks trial read batch and that you should give it a chance.

Some part of the content seems to be.. plagiarized from some other novel (the part about policewoman and dead driver)? Other than that, it seems to be a harem. And it develops very unnaturally at that. He met a policewoman who didn't seem like an easy pick. When she invited him to be her training coach to a gym, they only started & acted as friends. 5 chapters later they kiss and she says stuff like she'll do whatever he decides and that she's on his side and he suddenly acts as if it's already his decided wife. Like.. what the, where's the development? The girls in the other world are also EASY: first meetings and their cheeks are already red, they admire him, fall in love and would probably have nothing against being banged by MC. Oh and by the way, his only company in the other world are so far 3 girls and 0 boys. There is that male servant, a senior brother, a master, or that beggar who disappeared, but they don't accompany him in his daily life. Other guys are portraited as enemies- be it pig demon or some h*rny bullies. At least it's not a world of zombie apocalypse he's switching to, to build his harem and b*ng women he saved left and right which is the case for other novels in this genre (e.g. "I Have a Mansion in a Post-Apocalyptic World"). But in my opinion it's only slightly better, mostly due to absence of s*x, r*pe and rac*sm (am at chapter 66). But author often mentions how big of a beauty some girl is, her eyes, her face, her figure, her clothes. That's a red flag... As for harem, it's pretty much 1 woman in real world, 2 women in other world, that's 3 for now. Another brothel girl randomly inviting him to give him happiness, plus some other random, side chicks that would want him to be their boyfriend.
this novel is a breath of fresh air. it has good pacing and progression the system is interesting and shows the authors creativity the main character isn't overpowered due to the system but he isn't weak either. overall it's just a well written and balanced novel
Novel is ok but what really kills it for me is things like repeat chapters along with some of the moronic things the mc says or does and I’m just like how or why

One of the best books on this platform for potential. Please pick this up, it could turn out to be something really great. The pacing is just right and there have been no cliches so far. The author actually does a great job at breaking those old tropes. 10/10 for potential.
WOW, they didn't choose this. They choose overdone trash consistantly but when some thing interestimg comes around there like NAH BETTER CHOOSE THIS SYSTEM NOVEL, LIKE WE DON'T HAVE HUNDREDS OF THOSE AMIRITE. What even is the point of voting if they consistantly ignore good stuff for mediocre trash that they vomit forth on the weekly.
interesting. MC with a brain. i hope the MC can still. have brain and not losing it with more chapters. at 1 or 2 chapters it seem like that jp novel saving 80.000 gold in another world. but its actually different, author probably got idea from there ,i don't know. but so far this novel more interesting or have some interesting plot that i never read before . so yeah i hope this novel get picked
