Devasted

Alicia had not slept for the last five days. Not eaten in three days. She was weak and sleep-deprived. She needed to have a bit of proper rest. She didn't know for how long she would tolerate the torture but had to. She was guilty.

"Don't you ever, ever sleep on my bed." He shouted in anger, looking at the pitiful woman on the floor. There was a slight look of remorse, but then she was not showing much emotion.

"Get out," he shouted at her. Alicia looked at the young man and looked disappointed. The humanity she saw in him a few months ago is gone. He looked like a complete stranger. She wanted to speak but stopped.

"I am sorry." She said, walking out. Jason looked at her retreating figure and clenched his fist. He took a step and stopped her. The male wolves in the pack had been asking Damian if they could have her. From the look of it, she was not safe in the cell. That was not what he wanted. He wanted to be angry at her, but that did not mean he would watch her being devoured by the lustful men in the pack.

"Stop!" he shouted emotionless. He watched as she turned in confusion, looking at him. It was crazy. She looked as beautiful as he had seen her the first time. Now, it seemed something was pulling him to her. The sensation was too much at times. Especially the last few days. He seemed to want her at the same time, detested her everything.

"Why" he looked deep into her eyes and asked. He could feel her emotions. Her regret and fear." why did you kill him when he was not even a monster?" he could not help and ask. He didn't see Frank asking her to do. He could not understand her situation.

"It was an order. I could not defy it." She answered truthfully. She didn't even know why she could not stop herself from killing him. It was like something was compelling her to do exactly what Frank said. It had been like that for a while.

"But you had a chance and opportunity to start it. You did not hesitate a minute to do it. He had worked with your family for years. Why would you kill him?" Jason's voice broke a little talking. He didn't look at her and turned the other way. He was only 19. Too young to lose his father," Mom is like a corpse. She is not talking, eating is a problem. Even if I kill you. It will not change anything," he said, turning back this time, his eyes turned golden yellow.

Alicia had seen him fight the other night, his eyes glowing. It was not the first time to seen it, but seeing him up close was intimidating for her. He took small steps towards her as his claws emerged one after the other. The aura around him changed with kill intention spreading throughout the room.

"That night, it was an accident. It was either I got killed, or I killed the wolf. Being a hunter, you understand what it's like being targeted by a wolf when you are all alone." He said, slowing his face changing as well. "Imagine a young hunter in the middle of the wood fighting a rogue wolf all alone. No weapons, no backup. A small bite changed my life. I didn't choose this." He said as he cornered her at the door. He threw a sharp fist, his hand going through the door, claws ripping it open. The wolves outside the room were surprised and moved away from the door. Mitchel sent them to spy on them.

They didn't have the heart to continue spying with the crazy guy and fighting with the human girl.

"But what did they do? They hunted me. Worse, they involved my parents. In the end, my dad was killed. Do you think I'll forgive any of them?" Jason looked at her scared face and shouted. Alicia looked at him in the eyes, and her tears could not be kept at bay. She cried

"I am sorry. I didn't want to. Please kill me, punish. But please don't hate me" she didn't want his hatred. She wanted the pure happy guy she knew. The shy guy that wooed her was gone. The guy who stood in front of her father and asked his permission to date her.

"Too late. Death is too easy for you. I want you to feel how it's like to be chased by others for being a monster." The moment he dropped the words. He bent down and bit her neck hard. It was an exact precision, not targeting the blood veins. He felt his heart pained when he heard her scream in pain, but he didn't stop. He released her immediately as she held her neck, screaming. Blood was flowing rapidly out. Her newly worn clothes were soaked.

He didn't even look at her and took her by the hand. He dragged her downstairs before going to the left pavement towards the dungeon.

He coldly looked at her as she threw her pained and bloodied body to the guards.

"Throw her inside. It's a full moon tonight. Make sure she does not kill herself," he instructed and left.

"Damn. That guy is crazy and ruthless." One of the werewolves shuddered, looking at the raged retreating figure. There was no emotion on his, but the blood on his mouth spoke a lot. He just bit the woman he loved to turn her for revenge.

"That could be what the hunters deserve," the other said in approval. He dragged Alicia inside. This time she was in a better dungeon than the other but way too secured. He tied her hand to the huge chains on the wall and left her to her death. It was either she turned or died. That was a risk Jason took.

A flash of hatred passed by Alicia's eyes as she looked at the two guards
