NOT A PUPPY, BUT A WOLF

Davel was a very simple man. When he liked something, he would not try to cover it up. And when he did not like something, he would try to show it.

It was his nature ever since he became the Werewolf King in the Full Moon Land after the Moon Goddess gave him the big task.

Once he was patrolling the human lands with one of his men. He walked gracefully in the dazzling sunlight, and his long white hair reflected the sun's rays beautifully, making him shine so bright like a shining diamond.

At that time, he met a child on the street who was playing with his ball. His blue eyes suddenly lit up when he saw how the boy was playing cheerfully with the ball alone.

It was like an unwritten rule among werewolves that they had to limit their interactions with humans so that their identities would remain a secret when they disguised themselves as humans, but the Werewolf King said that he wanted to play with the child.

His subordinate looked confused and shocked, and he even questioned the King's reasoning. At that time, Davel just said that he liked the boy, and he felt bad seeing the boy playing alone with his ball.

The subordinate's jaw dropped when he heard the reason, and he couldn't do anything when the long-haired king started playing with the child.

Davel was a simple guy, and if he liked something, he wouldn't try to cover it up.

The same rule could be applied when he hated something, and the thing he hated the most was the vampires from The Shadowed Land.

Davel hated them, and when he hated something, he would try to show it. He showed it by the way he killed vampires mercilessly in the past.

He had been transmigrated to an unknown world where there wasn't even a single werewolf here, but he was still the same Davel who wouldn't try to hide it when he liked something, and he would also try to show it when he hated something.

For some reason, he felt two kinds of feelings at the same time when two doctors entered his ward this morning. He liked one doctor, and he hated the other.

It was simple, and the simple rules were applied once again. He didn't try to cover it up when he liked one of the doctors, and he did try to show it when he didn't like the other doctor.

For his 'like' toward one of the doctors, he assumed it was the same feeling he had when he saw the lonely child playing alone with his ball all those years ago. The boy looked innocent and pure, but at the same time, he also looked lonely. Thus, he decided to play with the boy despite the unwritten rule among werewolves.

In his eyes, the female doctor named Lycia was the same as the child. The doctor looked innocent and pure, but for some reason, she looked lonely in his eyes. That was why he liked the doctor as much as he liked the kid back then.

And as for his dislike, Davel didn't even know why he didn't like that male doctor called Breyno Collins. Maybe because the doctor suddenly came with Lycia when he thought the female doctor would come alone, or maybe it was because Lycia kept praising the male doctor as if the male doctor was God or something.

Davel didn't know why, but he knew that Breyno Collins's presence made him feel uncomfortable. That was why he wanted Lycia to examine him instead of the male doctor.

After he voiced his thoughts, he could hear Lycia explaining to him that she was an emergency medicine doctor or something, telling him that she had to stay in the emergency room or something.

The doctor explained carefully, but Davel didn't understand what the doctor was talking about.

'What is an emergency medicine doctor? What is an emergency room?' He wondered while tilting his head as he continued to stare at the black-haired doctor.

In his world, he had never heard of such a thing, and that was why he was confused when he heard Lycia's explanation.

"Eh, you look like a puppy."

He could hear Lycia suddenly muttering those words, and he widened his eyes. He wasn't the only one who widened his eyes as the female doctor did the same.

The female doctor was probably taken aback that she voiced her thoughts that she should have kept it in her heart.

'She dares to call me a puppy when I'm a wolf?' Davel held back his protest as he continued to stare at the long-haired doctor.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to call you a puppy! You're too cute when you tilt your head, and I thought you looked like a puppy! I'm sorry!"

The raven-haired doctor rambled on again as she tried to apologize to him, but Davel's expression remained flat even after hearing the doctor's explanation.

'This is the first time someone has called me cute. This woman has courage that no one else has,' Davel thought without taking his eyes off the female doctor.

"I also thought that Mr. Clayton just now looked cute."

Or not. Davel thought that only the female doctor would dare to call him cute, but the male doctor named Breyno Collins suddenly chimed in to call him cute too.

Shifting his gaze from the female doctor to the male doctor, his gaze filled with chunks of ice once again, making the male doctor regret his decision to call him cute.

"Ah, maybe I'll check on Mr. Clayton now before the nurse comes to help Mr. Clayton take a bath,"

perhaps Lycia could sense the tension between Davel and Breyno, and she suddenly chimed in before starting to check on the patient's condition.

But Davel's attention was not on the female doctor because he was bothered by something else, 'The nurse will help me to take a bath? That means they will see my naked body?'
