Test - II

Top Yellow talent.

He couldn't believe his eyes. He closed his eyes took a deep breath and opened them again. There it was a bright brilliant yellow colour.

Everybody was also shocked but not much due to previous results.

But still those of lower talent gave a jealous look while those having greater talent a look of scorn.

But who cares. He finally knows he has the potential to become a spirit warrior and take revenge. And maybe, just maybe get close to Sophia…

He was in his delusions when a loud voice cam into his ears.

"Boy!!"

"Ehh. Yess Sir!"

"Stop daydreaming and move forward!"

The instructor ordered and he complied albeit still a little giddy.

His happiness was practically dripping from his face while he moved towards the others.

As he was still a bit stunned, he didn't notice his surroundings and went to stand in the queue.

But an untimely and shrill voice woke him from his stupor.

"Why didn't you greet master John? Do you really think you are some bigshot by having top yellow tier talent."

Xavier was now fully awake. He looked towards the voice and found the person speaking to be the one who tested for low green tier talent.

"The boot-licker" he spat out somewhat lightly.

He immediately looked to see if anyone has heard him. He was relieved, no has heard him.

'Thank god I spoke so slowly or if anyone listened it has be a disaster.'

He then looked in front.

'Oh shit!'

The boot-licker has heard him. He was standing there with a dark face seething with anger.

" How dare you…." he grabbed his collar and spoke in a loud voice which trailed in the end as now everyone has turned in their directions.

Realising it he was somewhat shaken when he finally thought of an idea.

And continued , " ..... badmouth master John. You really don't want to survive."

Realising him being involved John walked towards them and asked "Albert what happened?"

Albert then retreated and spoke something in John's ears. At this moment John's face showed signs of anger.

He moved in front of Xavier now practically so close that it seemed that he would anytime attack him.

Meanwhile Xavier thought 'what the hell just happened. This fu*ker Albert I swear I will send you to hell.'

Xavier calmly stated " I didn't speak anything about you".

"And I believe you…" John replied sarcastically.

"Listen you…"

John was going to continue when the instructor returned. Everybody immediately recoiled back into normal positions.

"The test has now ended 36 people have now been selected. You all follow me to complete the final procedures"

Everybody complied with him and followed. While going Albert turned towards him and motioned a neck cutting sign while laughing.

Only one word came in of Xavier's mind at the moment.

'Trouble'

--------------------------------------------------

Right now he was Xavier was back in little room at the inn.

He recalled the information conveyed by the instructor.

Cleric City was one of the 76 third tier cities.

That's right. The biggest city he was living was at the bottom of the country.

He had jumped from the well to a small pond. He was really disheartened to now it.

His opponent for revenge was still far away.

He could feel that, that man's subordinate was much more powerful than the instructor.

Moving on to the information told by the instructor.

They are in a country called Seven Sky Kingdom. The kingdom is divided into 5 regions.

Four of them headed by the four noble families of the kingdom while the centre was directly ruled by royal family.

There were 5 tier 1 cities corresponding to each region. The central city is the royal capital.

All the regions were further divided into tier 2 cities and then tier 3 cities.

It was really a long way to the top.

There was one good news atleast.

The Royal Capital's Imperial Academy was holding its selection. If one is able to pass it they are eligible to study in academy.

He marked it as his goal.

But for even participating in the selection he needs to win the annual tournament conducted by the tier 2 city. If not win atleast top 10 was a necessity.

This was really giving him a headache. On top it that bastard Albert and his master John. They were really giving him a bad feeling.

At this moment there was no war so their task was to complete assignments posted in the mission hall.

He would get rewards corresponding to the task. But before all that he would be given the technique that he requires urgently to start practicing spirit energy.

He was having a hunch that for the true essence of Heart Rending Method he needs to have spirit energy.

He was not functioning at his full potential.

There were too many things going on.

He was feeling the urgency but somehow his mentality was focused and he was not distracted too much.

He attributed it to the Heart Rending Method.

Outside the window the sun was setting. Creating a picturesque sight.

He looked towards it feeling the dimming radiance and thought of his past.

With this his day has ended. He leapt on his bed and went off to dreamland after a while.
