Asa POV:
Asa woke up to a warm presence next to him in bed.
The morning still burned bright, even though they stayed up so late, consummating their love.
Teakwood and lilac swirled around him, the two scents intertwining.
He stretched his sore body, memories of last night swirling in his mind.
Everything fell into place last night. He and Chris renewed their bond and redid the mating run. Their bodies moved in a synchronicity that Asa thought impossible. How could something like that, something neither of them had ever done before, be so good, so perfect?
Everything felt perfect.
Now, waking up the next morning, he felt exactly how he always thought he would after the run.
Asa had no anxiety, no doubt.
Everything that he thought wrong before about their mating had somehow been righted overnight.
Chris belonged to him and he belonged to Chris. Nothing would break them apart now.
