Assar drew his sword in a flash and said the activation phrase allowing the runes to explode with light. He knew that hiss, it still gave him nightmares at times. He had fought only one of these monsters in the past and hoped to never have to fight one again.


“Oksana, get your weapon, stay behind me as best as you can. This beast is beyond you, and maybe even me.”
