No Backing Out

"Okay, that's step one of my plan, my parents never knew that today ever happened. Now, to the salon. She said to herself as she quickly got inside the limo.

"Madame, Mr. Avery made reservations only for you at a salon. Let me take you there in an instant." The driver informed Cassandra professionally, then he quickly closed the window separating her from him.

"Looks like he already took care of everything himself." She uttered silently to herself. And once again, she let out a deep sigh.

Meanwhile on Greyson's end, he was actually ready for the wedding, he was all dressed up, but he didn't want any mistakes to happen in their wedding which was why he got to the venue in advance to make sure that all the services that Cassandra hired won't screw a single thing up.

A couple of hours later, the sun had started to come up, it was a shiny and beautiful new day, everything was starting to come according to Cassandra's plan, it didn't rain and the sun was bright, shining upon the church and into the Nave as well, giving it a unique and distinct golden glow from the inside.

The clock finally hit eight in the morning, the guests had all started to arrive, the church itself was quite big, but the guests were only about eighty to a hundred people as Cassandra didn't want a huge wedding that would make her life harder.

"Ahh… It's finally all coming together, the guests arriving, everyone in their positions, everythings perfect." Greyson said in the air, but someone else heard it.

"Yeah you're right, the bride must be quite lucky, huh, you were already here way before the sun came up, you must be really excited." A man in a white robe said with an enthusiastic voice, he smiled at Greyson and patted him on the back.

Although it wasn't too visible, Greyson was also tense while he was thinking of Astrid. He should be the one people were expecting, but since he couldn't even contact her, he couldn't do anything anymore. The wedding had to commence.

"Father, I didn't see you there, yeah… But I'm luckier, in just an hour later, she'll be here, she'll become my bride, and everything… will be set in stone…" He seemed quite down for a man getting married, the priest noticed it as well.

"You have doubts, but all of your doubts will vanish once you see her in that flowing white dress." The priest told him with a huge smile on his face as he then left Greyson alone as he needed to prepare for the wedding ceremony.

Greyson took advantage of the extra time before Cassandra's arrival by looking around the chapel and hoping that his thoughts would leave him alone.

The clock was finally nine in the morning, all of the guests had all arrived, every single one of them was able to attend and fill all of their seats as Greyson was waiting at the right side of the altar with a smile on his face as he fixed his attire. All there was to do at the time was to wait for the grand entrance of the bride.

There were minutes of silence inside of the church as the waiting became a little intense for everyone, and then finally, the choir inside the church started to sing. As the big door of the entrance of the church slowly opened, doves came flying inside as the shining rays of the sun started to seep into the nave.

"There she is!" Someone from the guests shouted as it echoed all throughout the church walls, everyone began to stand up as Cassandra was seen entering and making her grand entrance.

Even though she only wanted a small and simple wedding, it was quite impossible for her to have that since she was marrying Greyson at the time.

Her gown was so long that she needed two people to carry it behind her to ensure it didn't get stuck in anything. The gown had strapless stunning with a v-neck style that certainly made the bride stand out. Her body's contours were so obvious as the gown wrapped around her.

"You look so beautiful…" One of the guests said to Cassandra with a huge smile on her face as she walked past them.

The white sleeves that matched with her dress really finished the outfit as it really made her skin complexity glow even more, the choir was fantastic in singing along while Cassandra was walking down the aisle. She looked like an angel in the middle of everyone.

"Oh okay… You can do this, I'm sure you can do this." Sebastian served as Greyson's best man at the wedding, he was encouraging Greyson because he looked quite hesitant at the time.

"You really think so? Can I really go on with this?" Greyson was starting to have second thoughts about whether he wanted to go on with the wedding, because once the ceremony was finished, Cassandra's contract with him would cease to exist.

Greyson then laughed and chuckled as Cassandra was almost to the altar. "There's no backing out of this one, my man. You just have to support me till the end, whoo! Wish me luck!" He told his best man, Sebastian as he finally accepted that he was going to get through with the wedding, Greyson fixed his suit and made sure to fix his posture as well.

Seconds later, Cassandra reached the altar with Greyson joining her in unison, the priest was just waiting for them in front of the altar.

Cassandra leaned in a little closer to Greyson as she smiled at him, that simple smile was more than enough to melt him away, her beauty at the time, matched with world class make up and a world class dress, nothing could match her look and the aura that she was giving off.

"You look so handsome in that suit, how come I never saw you wear it more often?" She asked him in front of the altar with a playful manner.

Greyson chuckled and smiled back at her. "Oh, I don't know, I just think that if I wear something similar to this more often, women might just ravage me to death." He replied as the two banterd with each other in front of the altar.

But before they could say to each other another word, the priest cleared his throat and finally started the wedding ceremony. "Ladies and Gentlemen, before I start the ceremony, I would like to ask if someone here objects to these two getting married today in front of the Lord?" He asked everyone inside the church.
