Richard

I looked outside the city walls that had almost burnt down into ashes with punctured gunshot marks on each sides of the walls. That was my club.

I watched as far back as sitting in my car with not a particular words of conviction as to why this had to be me but then, Luci's words that had almost become a mantra to my ears rang as a bell in my head__if I don't get what I want, no one else can! and he'd laugh out loud after his statement.

There had been a lot of surprises but one that caught me most off-guard was Derrick. What have I done wrong to deserve what he did to me? As far as I can think, he owes me an apology and not just to me but to Caroline as well.

I remembered the sinister look in his eyes, how devious and determined it was to make sure the gunshot took my life.

I sighed heavily before resting my head that seems to be filled up with lots of things these days and then my phone rang, bringing me back to my self-awareness.
