Monday 4:20am
Cloud Café
It was now Monday. From his room on the third floor August could hear the occasional sound of passing vehicles from the street below. He did his morning routine before heading down the stairs. August then exited his apartment and made his way to the café.
Walking into the kitchen, he noticed that he was the first one down. 'Might as well grab everyone a water bottle.'. he thought as he reached into the fridge where he took out four water bottles before leaving the kitchen. August made sure he had his phone before going to sit in his morning booth to wait on the other.
"I'm first again." cheered Hans, not noticing August. "Whatcyu mean my boi?" asked August, scaring the crap out of Hans.
"Oh my gosh don't do that."
"I didn't do anything. You were just unaware of your surroundings."
Hans only rolled his eyes in response as he sat across from August waiting for the others to come down, that didn't take too long as only two minutes had passed before Sam and Sebastian made their way down. "About timeee." whined Hans as he got up from his place across from August.
"Let's go then, I already grabbed the waters, just pick one up from the table." August then stood up and made his way to the door, opening it. He allowed the others to pass before closing it behind him. Hans ran off first taking the lead as everyone jogged behind.
Unlike the last time, they didn't jog straight to town square, they had instead jogged down the street and stopped by the park doing two laps around it before heading back. "Oh-oh-oh my- gosh- I'm-tired." panted out Samantha in between breaths. "At least- I'm not on morning shift." she continued causing everyone else to give her a stale face.
Sam couldn't even find the strength to apologize as she begged Sebastian to pull her up the stairs. "Th-anks." she panted as he hauled her up the stairs.
"At least we have, well you have an hour before opening, I have three. I'm going to shower then sleep, good luck." yawned Hans exhausted as he made his way up the stairs. 'I need to make haste and see how much sleep I can get before opening.' yawned August jogging up the stairs.
Once August made his way back up the stairs, and into his room, he stripped himself bare just as the last time before heading into the bathroom for a nice, cool and refreshing shower. 'I'll never get used to this feeling' he thought as the cool water made contact with his heated body. August stayed in the shower for around five minutes before he stepped out.
After he left the shower, he got dressed in the Cloud Cafes signature uniform telling himself that if he got up late, he'd only need to go straight downstairs. Once he was finished getting dressed, he picked up the phone, set an alarm for thirty minutes before playing some relaxing sounds from YouTube and dozing off.

Cloud Café
The bell chimed causing the staff to look at who had just entered. It was Rebecca. "Rebecca, how many times do we have to tell you to stop coming here?" asked Dae, annoyed. "I'm here as an employee Daejanel, August said I'd be a waitress." she responded slightly smug.
"What? There's no way August would hire you." Sophia said, sounding quite unsure herself. 'He wouldn't, right? "Actually I did, it was a mistake on my part, I forgot to take down the job opening ad." said August coming down the stairs.
Rebecca ran over to him hugging his arm, "Hi August." beamed Rebecca looking up at him. He's still as handsome as the day they met. "Hi Rebecca, could you please release my arm? You're at work and we're not together, people might get the wrong idea."
"Aww, could you explain the role to me a bit more? What do I do exactly as a waitress? I've only worked in an office so I'm not entirely sure." she asked, releasing his arm. "Since Sebastian is our waiter I'll have him explain the role to you. Seb I'll take over as you show her around."
"Ok just let me finish taking this lovely couple's order." he replied, causing the two teens to blush. The girl tried to explain that they weren't dating but the male had cut her off by accepting the compliment causing her to go even redder.

"Welcome to Cloud Café, my name is Rebecca. How may I assist you today?"
"As much as I don't want to admit it, she's doing a good job." mumbled Mackenzie to Emma. "I guess she's a quick learner." said Emma, feeling a bit discouraged. "Don't worry, there'll be plenty of other ways to win the boss's heart other than being a good employee.
"Invite him out for lunch, ask him to show you the city like how you're new here." Sam suggested. Emma turned red. "What?-H-how could I ever do that?" she stuttered out. "Don't worry I got you covered." Before Emma could ask her what she meant Mackenzie called out to their boss.
"August! Can you show Emma around town for a bit? She's still new to the city and has been here since morning." she yelled out. "Sure, I don't see why not." he smiled at them. "Can I come as-" Rebecca was cut off by Samantha.
"Just started working here and you already want to start slacking off? You haven't even completed a day working here and you're already trying to find an excuse to run off." Sam called out, causing everyone to side eye her. Sure Emma was new too, but Rebecca didn't need to know that.
"I- nevermind. Have fun August, be sure to show her our favourite spot where we used to hangout." Her tone might have sounded nice but her statement was anything but. "Mm-ok, Emma go change I'll be waiting on you here."
Emma ran off upstairs to change while Samantha was thanking the heavens didn't call her out for being biased towards Emma.
