11. Mr. Bellamy's Rude Son.

"Mr. Bellamy, she is awake." The maid said as she walked towards them hurriedly and as soon as Mr. Bellamy heard her, he got up from the couch and literally ran towards her room.

Ryan and Derek frowned at him, unused to his urgency. He was usually composed, even when things were at time's beck and call.

Derek took a deep breath, noticing Ryan's face darken. "Ryan, You should try to stay calm in front of her. Let's hear her out first and then decide what we need to do with her." Derek said and Ellis frowned. He still didn't understand what the fuss about this girl was all about.

Unlike Ryan and Derek, Ellis was a relaxed, nonchalant guy. The difference between the siblings was alarmingly contrasting, with Ryan's tendency to take everything seriously and Derek, who adapted to each situation however he thought most productive.

"Ryan, I am talking to you." Derek said firmly, his face blank, but interrogative.

"Do you think Dad will let us decide what we would do with that girl?" Ryan asked, his voice dangerously calm. The calm before the Storm, Derek used to joke around, until Ryan had wrecked chaos on their last mission. Ryan's voice and presence would always hold a kind of authority Derek and Ellis both knew they didn't have.

His voice was manly, deep and rough, the kind that intimidated everyone around him but at the same time sent delicious chills down their spines. He was never this calm like this when something has pissed him off. And so his body language was extremely telling of his plans. Derek chewed on his lip, nervous. When Ryan looked calm it meant he was going to turn things upside down but no one can be sure how and when he will do so. Everyone will be clueless until he makes it clear. No one can do anything but be surprised.

"Even if he doesn't... Let's talk to him. We are his sons. Obviously we mean far more to him compared to that Girl. So just relax." Derek held fierce eye contact with his brother. "Don't do anything irrational. Let's go hear what she says to say, shall we?" Derek asked and Ryan sighed as he nodded.

"If you say so." Ryan got to his feet and walked away from him.

Ellis frowned, glancing at Derek with a dismissive nod as if he was sure nothing is gonna happen but seeing how silent Ryan was right now meant anything could happen.

Derek and Ellis followed Ryan to Ida's room.

The door was already open a sliver and Ryan nudged it open for all three of them to slip in.

"Careful... You are not completely okay yet." Mr. Bellamy said firmly as he tried to coax Ida to sit up against a soft pillow for support. The blankets were bunched up at her knees, but she couldn't hide her shiver.

Ryan rolled his eyes seeing his father helping their rival's daughter. He knew it was only logical but the thought only triggered him more.

Mr. Bellamy looked up at his three sons and then at Ida, who was in the process of tucking the thick fabric around her arms. Then she looked up at the guys who are now present in her room.

Her eyes fell on the guy that she didn't notice earlier. As soon as she locked eyes with him, shills ran down her spine. The way he gazed her with his piercing brown eyes scared her suddenly. Her eyes ran over his features as he too stared at her.

He was alarmingly fair compared to his brothers, sporting a symmetrical face with a razor sharp jawline, a high nose and thick eyebrows. His black hair was perfectly gelled back, its ends long and sprawled on his collar. His body was not as bulky as the man next to him but leaner somehow. She might look like a little kid in his arms. Ida scolded herself at the thought. As if he would ever. Standing next to the door, she could guess that he was about 6'1 since she stood at about 5'8.

She could roughly tell how old he was: maybe around 5 years older, give or take. His posture was mature but his eyes still gleamed with young mischief.

"Will you stop staring at me like that?" His voice echoed making Ida break out of her trance. She blinked them, finding them wetting since she hadn't blinked the entire time.

She swallowed nervously, trying to rid of the lump rising in her throat. She felt so intimidated under his steeled gaze and her heart beated unnaturally fast, and she found herself breathless.

His deep voice scared her but she couldn't deny the fact that it sounded sexy. Any girl would swoon simply upon hearing his speak. Them and their boyfriends too, both captivated by the confidence radiating from him.

"Ida…relax." Mr. Bellamy said soothingly with a concerned expression and Ida shook her head at him, assuring him that she was fine.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Mr. Bellamy asked.

"Ye-yes... I am." Ida stuttered looking at Mr. Bellamy. Her eyes soon wandered back to the three brothers and she realised one of them, the youngest, from his height, had a different hair colour. They were all breathtakingly beautiful but she couldn't help but feel biased towards the one that was rude to her. His attractiveness exeeded his siblings. She had a feeling he was the oldest among them.

"So, care to tell us why are you here and what do you want?" Ryan asked, a bit of rudeness in his tone which made her shiver a little, even though she was as warm as a toaster under the blankets.

"Ryan." Mr. Bellamy called sternly and Ryan simply narrowed his eyes at him.

"I am sorry about your parents." Ida's head swung back towards Mr. Bellamy. "I didn't think that something like this would happen."

Ida nodded shortly, taken by his seemingly genuine compassion.

"I'm here for your help." Ida said, turning back towards Ryan and staring directly into his eyes. His left eye twitched, unused to it.

"What help do you want from us?" Mr. Bellamy asked with a frown while his other sons waited for her answer.

"To find the one who killed my parents." Ida answered with a straight face and she watched as their expressions morphed into confusion.

"What the hell? You want our help in finding your parents' killer? Are you really asking US this? Do you even know who we are? Huh? We were rivals of your father. I don't know what ludicrosy goes through your brain but this is unimaginable."

"Ryan. Shut up or get out of here." Mr. Bellamy shouted across the room.

Ryan ignored him. "Ohh... Come on, Dad. Didn't you heard what she just said? Asking for help from us to find her parents' murderer. I don't know who killed them but I would have done it myself if they hadn't!" Ryan seethed. One moment he was glaring directly at her, the next dazily at the ceiling, as a loud punch landed in the middle of his beautiful face.
