10. Mr. Bellamy's Warning.

"Is she alright, Doctor?" Mr. Bellamy asked with a concerned look on his face. His greying hair was slicked with sweat, dishevelled from running his hands through it.

"Yes, she is alright. She passed out due to mild hypothermia and dehydration. That's it. I covered her with heated blankets and gave her a few shots. She will be fine and will wake up anytime soon. I'm guessing she didn't have enough food or water for the last few days." The doctor said and Mr. Bellamy nodded his head sheepishly. The doctor paused to give him a strange look, pushing his glasses back onto his nose to go back to his chart.

"You need to take care of her well. I gave rehydration and passive rewarming fluids to the maid for the girl. Please make sure she takes them on time." The doctor said.

"Yes. We will do that. Thank you." Mr. Bellamy replied and the doctor handed him a slip of instructions.

"Ellis, see the doctor out." Mr. Bellamy said and Ellis, Mr. Bellamy's youngest son obliged.

Ellis and the Doctor walked out leaving the three guys in the living room.

"It's high time you tell us who she is!" Ryan exclaimed, looking impatiently at his father.

"Can't you tell us who she is at least? What is this stranger doing in our home?" Derek, Mr. Bellamy's second son asked but Mr. Bellamy still kept calm. Ryan sighed as he got up from the couch.

"We could ask her ourselves." Rayn pointed out and Mr. Bellamy's head shot to him sternly. But still he said nothing. Father and son held eyes for several moments.

"I don't know what you're trying to hide but if you won't tell we have other methods of finding out—" Mr. Bellamy suddenly cut off Ryan in mid sentence.

"She is Mr. Celeste's Daughter." Mr. Bellamy said firmly as Ellis walked inside the living room.

"What?" Mr. Bellamy's three sons deadpaned at a time with their shocked expressions and widened eyes.

"Yes. She is Mr. Simon Celeste's Daughter. Our rival's daughter." Mr. Bellamy said, making Ryan jump up.

"What is she doing here then? How did you even allow her into our home?" Ryan hissed in anger.

"Don't you dare regard me with such accusation." Mr. Bellamy said, making him bite his lip and sit back down. Slowly. Still shaking with fury.

"Forgive me, Father. But, How could you risk that. She is our rival's Daughter, Dad." Ryan replied.

"Her parents are dead, Ryan." Mr. Bellamy said, making Ellis and Derek exchange while Ryan looked at him with confusion.

"So?"

"She is an orphan now. She has no suport system, no friends, no known family." Mr. Bellamy answered.

"So?" Ryan, incredulity on his face.

"She is here for our help!" Mr. Bellamy said and Ryan chuckled.

"Our help? Our rival's Daughter is here to ask for our help? How are you certain she isn't here to kill us?" Ryan exploded.

"Ryan...Calm down." Mr. Bellamy shouted sternly as he got up from the couch.

"Her parents are dead. Didn't you hear me? They are dead. What will a single 19 year old girl do here in our literal fortress with at least 50 people around us 24/7? Use some common sense while you are talking!" Mr. Bellamy said angrily.

"That poor girl was standing outside in the rain for almost half a day just to meet me and now, she's fainted. Didn't you hear what the doctor just said? She is weak and you expect her to kill you? What nonsense are you talking about? Even if she does have malicious intent she's not stupid to think she can take down any of us. The least we could do is hear her out. " Mr. Bellamy fired back angrily as he advanced closer to Ryan.

Derek sprang up, holding his father back. "Dad, please calm down." Derek fretted. He shot a dark look at his older brother.

"Ryan, your heart is oh so cold and you care about no one. Point made. But you lack rationality and a single drop of respect. Dad is the boss and he knows what he is doing. Don't question him." Derek said and Ryan shook his head, in hystericals.

"Wow, isn't this fantastic? You are shouting at me, defending a mere girl. Our rival's daughter, nonetheless. " Ryan emphasised, narrowing his eyes in suspicion.

"Ryan, Look... I don't want to argue with you. Not right now. Please." Mr. Bellamy said, rubbing his temples.

"I don't want to either. Heck, we won't have arguing like this if she wasn't here in the first place. That is why, I'm asking, why in the hell is she here in our home?" Ryan demanded.

"I told you for god's sake... She is here for help!" Mr. Bellamy yelled at Ryan, making him sigh.

"No. You aren't helping her in any way shape or form. We aren't even sure if she is here for help. You can't just drag our enemy inside our home like this, dad." Ryan said.

"God. What's wrong with you, Ryan? Why are you behaving like this?"

Derek raised a hand slowly. "He has a point. To my knowledge you haven't even spoke to her properly yet." Derek. Almost the reasonable one.

"I don't want her in our home. Get her out of here." Ryan answered blankly.

"Brother—" Mr. Bellamy cut off Derek in mid sentence.

"No. I will not. I will decide what I will do with her after I have listened to her. She came here for me for help! I will not listen to you or anyone here before I listen to her and come to a conclusion about this. Until then, should you boys dare to talk back to me about her." Mr. Bellamy warned as he glared at the three guys. Ryan stared back at him with an unreadable expression.

"I am warning you three. Behave!" Mr. Bellamy said sternly and walked away from there to Ida's room leaving the three alone.

"Ryan, what has gotten into you? Your concerns have merit but you don't usually explode this way." Derek muttered, folding his arms across his chest. "This god damn family needs a communication class. None of you know how to have a mature exchange of information."

Ryan completely disregarded him.

How could he word and explain to him how there was just something about this girl that drove him insane. She drew him in, left him breathless and he hadn't even talked to her before. The effect she already had on him was purely physical but her relaxed, peaceful form had been tugging at his heart strings.

Nothing ever scared him. He was Ryan Bellamy, heir to his father and part of the Mafia. It was exceedingly difficult to unnerve him, let alone scare him.

But this terrified him.
