Kiarah was almost murdering her food as she saw Matthew who was talking to all the elders of the empire being the newly throned king.

She still couldn't believe that he was going to rule the Orion empire even after they had Alden, who is much more capable of being a king than MAtthew.

She wants to scream and tell everyone that MAtthew doesn't deserve it and that he was evil minded but she knows he'd kill her in a split second now.

Because he holds more power than them now. Shaking her head, she threw the plate aside and walked to her room quietly not wanting to disturb the atmosphere of the occasion.

She knew no one was going to hear her now. She badly wants to know what happened to Alden but he is the most distant at this moment even if he was with her.

She didn't come out of her room after that because her mood was completely off and she didn't want to face Matthew or her grandfather who probably hates her or dislikes her and she doesn't want to burst out.

Kelen was bringing her food and was giving updates about Alden to her which is nothing more than locking himself up in a room and not letting anyone inside while Matthew was chilling happily in his new position.

The next day, she was feeling much better but the people who knew her and her real identity were calling her and congratulating her as her younger brother became the king and felt sorry for Alden which annoyed her to the core.

In the afternoon, she finally came out of her room, completely annoyed and irritated. She had enough now. Enough of everything.

Enough of having Alden hiding himself from everyone. She knew everyone adored him and admired him for his strength and all but no one actually acres now.

No one felt that he was locked up inside from the time he came back or was completely inactive except Kelen and her. Not even her own dad. She didn't know what to say to him.

He was their dad and he has responsibility towards his kids. Yeah, Alden failed in his mission but it's not some unforgivable thing.

Even Alden was not doing anything. He was not putting effort to mend anything or his failed mission. He just left everything.

Now she really wants to know what happened that turned him into this man who is not able to recognise anything now.

She could hear everyone around her whispering about Matthew and his position which is just adding fuel to her fire.

She met Kelen in the middle and stopped him. He raised his eyebrows looking at her, making her huff in annoyance. "What mission did Alden fail in?" Kiarah asked without beating around the bush startling him.

"What? Why this question suddenly?" Kelen asked looking around to make sure no one was around them. "Just answer me," Kiarah said irritatedly making him shut his mouth.

"It was a mission to kill a family and I don't know why he couldn't kill them, I was not available at that time and when I asked him, he didn't say anything" Kelen said, not meeting her eyes.

"I know you are lying, '' Kiarah said in a split second, making him look at her with wide eyes. He was sent with Alden to make sure he was safe and didn't get into danger.

Kelen sighed knowing there is no escape. "Kiarah, see it's not my place to answer this question. He needs you and only he can say what happened. If it was my place, I would have definitely told you about it the day we came here" Kelen said softly.

"I'll ask him only, '' Kiarah said irritatedly and walked away from him. kelen looked at her confused, not knowing what happened to her suddenly. Shrugging his shoulders, he was about to walk away when it clicked that Kiarah is going to ask him about Ida and her family.

He ran behind her and was about to top her but he was too late. She opened the bedroom of Alden's with a thud making him flinch in his place. She was shocked as she saw how the room was.
